Amazing stay at Vail

From the moment we arrived at this property my family was thrilled. The location is absolutely perfect, and the property was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and the apartment was beautiful with everything we needed. We enjoyed the daily breakfasts downstairs, as well as relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. We definitely hope to return again to Austria Haus next winter!”

Fabulous Location!

We spent a week here in August. The location is perfect and the accommodations are quite nice. The only item that should be noted for visitors in the summer is that there is no air conditioning and it was quite warm. We were unaware of that. They did offer to provide us with fans. The kitchen was well stocked and they were very willing to provide us with anything that was lacking as far as cooking needs. I applaud them for managing during this Covid time and being very diligent with all aspects of maintaining safety and health. I would recommend this and would certainly choose this property for skiing!”

Great stay in Vail!

We had a great stay at the Austria Haus. They really made us feel like family. Loved the buffet breakfast each morning. Also, so nice to be able to leave our skis right by the mountain each day instead of bringing them back to the Austria Haus. We hope to return!”

AWESOME STAFF, AWESOME LOCATION, AWESOME PROPERTY!

THE AUSTRIA HAUS IS FILLED WITH ATTENTIVE AND EXTRAORDINARILY HELPFUL STAFF AT EVERY CORNER! FROM THE VALET AT THE FRONT DOOR, THE FRONT DESK AND CONCIERGE AND THE DAILY HOUSEKEEPING AND BREAKFAST STAFF, ALL OUR NEEDS WERE ATTENDED TO. OUR PENTHOUSE SUITE HAD STUNNING VIEWS OF VAIL MOUNTAIN THAT WE JUST SAT AND LOOKED AT FREQUENTLY. THE LOCATION WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING! TOP RESTARAUNTS-LA TOUR AND SWEET BASIL JUST STEPS AWAY, A MOVIE THEATRE, BIKE SHOPS, FARMERS MARKET AND VAIL GOLF COURSE-MOST JUST WALKING DISTANCE, SOME JUST A FEW STEPS (NOT THE GOLF COURSE-IT WAS A MILE PERHAPS). THE SUITE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED, AS WE DID COOK SOME DINNERS THERE. THE AUSTRIAN THEME IS NOT MY FAVORITE, THE ONLY MINOR NEGATIVE OBSERVATION, BUT THAT IS WHAT IT'S CALLED AND THAT IS WHAT IT IS-AUSTRIA HAUS. RERGARDLESS, A GREAT PLACE. WE DIDN'T GET IN THE POOL OR JACUZZI BUT IT LOOKED VERY NICE. ALSO, HAD AN ADEQUATE LITTLE GYM. NOTE: THE MASTER HAD A NICE KING, BUT THE OTHER ROOM WAS 2 QUEENS AND THE 3RD WAS 2 TWINS WE THINK. A VERY PLEASANT PLACE!”

Cozy Austria Haus

The location is as good as it gets in Vail, right off the covered bridge. This place is intimate and super cozy and offers great service with breakfast (at least in winter). We have been here twice now and highly recommend it. Apartments are comfortable with everything you need. ”

Perfect location

This property has a perfect location! Right in the middle of Vail village and close to great restaurants. The condo was spacious and comfortable. We had our children with us and invited family for dinner one night and really enjoyed the big dinning room table. We loved it and would go back in a flash. ”

Spectacular Stay at the Austria Haus!!!

We had such a perfect stay at the Austria house! There was plenty of room for our group of eight, including children. All the staff are so friendly and we love seeing their familiar faces every time we stay here! This hotel is located in the heart of Vail Village, so close to the slopes and restaurants. The living room with vaulted ceiling‘s makes this place extra charming! We look forwards to returning soon!”

Stay at Austria House Vail, CO

The location within the town was perfect. Quiet, beautiful view from all rooms. Nice layout of the condo. Coming from Europe I had asked in advance if the room could be occupied earlier than 4pm. Other guests waiting for their room all could access their condos up to two hours earlier. Our condo was first ready at 4.10pm, after 32 hours travelling not a nice reception. Otherwise we felt very comfortable.”

Comfortable and close to it all!

A very enjoyable & comfortable stay in the heart of Vail. Our home for the week was well appointed and the staff was excellent! Would stay here again - particularly in cooler months. Would have given 5 stars if there was AC. Temperatures were great, yet we had to keep the windows open to keep it cool - so allergies for us were a little revved up as a result. Regardless, the penthouse is definitely beautiful, comfortable and very nice!”

Our family loved staying at the Austria Haus! We spent a week there in August and enjoyed every minute. The accommodations were updated, clean and spacious and the staff was super friendly and wonderful. The concierge desk planned out each day for us with perfectly chosen activities for us and our kids that included hiking to a waterfall, a guided float down the Colorado River, biking the Vail Pass, an amusement park, an adventure course on Vail mountain and a rodeo. The location of Austria Haus couldn't have been any better! We're looking forward to returning to this lovely spot.”

Perfect location in the heart of Vail

The staff was nice and flexible. We liked it so much we were able to extend for one night for a nominal fee (Oktoberfest is technically offseason so no guarantees of availability during ski season). Daily breakfast was pretty good and even better on the weekend.”
