This ideally located Victorian home sits a block from Aspen’s shopping and nightlife, providing one of the town’s most perfect spots for your next visit to Aspen.
This five bedroom, six bathroom historic home was built in 1889 and completely rebuilt in 2001 now offers state of the art amenities and appliances, incredible artwork and modern contemporary furnishings throughout with views of both Aspen and Red Mountains.
The locations cannot be beat. A block from all the best restaurants in Aspen, and incredible shopping yet total privacy on the block and only a couple of blocks from the mountain.
The proud homeowners were recently the first place winners of the Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence. Cork tiled floors, stone counters, comfortable luxurious fabrics and an “observatory” with telescope for star gazing make this quite the desirable accommodation.
The main floor of the home offers a warm and inviting living room, a modern glass dining table that seats 12, and a gourmet kitchen with ample counters and professional appliances.
The master and two guest rooms are located on the second level while the 4th guest suite offers privacy on the third level and access to the rooftop sundeck and observatory.
The newly added media room features a flat screen television and DVD, sectional seating and cleverly hidden twin sleepers. This room becomes the kids’ playground and movie theater when a second living space is necessary.
There is a bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom at the back of the house and an apartment on the second floor at the back of the house which has a queen bed, sitting and dining area.
An outdoor patio with hot tub and heated garage for one car complete this home.
Daily maid service is available for an additional charge.

The location of the house is a 100 out of 100. Walkable to absolutely everything. The house itself was perfect for our group. It feels like at every turn there is another bedroom and bathroom. The fireplace kept the house warm and cozy and the jacuzzi was great for a dip after a long day of hiking. The host was extremely accommodating and we would like to visit again. ”

Our stay was great and I can't say enough about this beautiful house and its location. We were a minutes walk from all of the best restaurants, bars, and shops. The artwork in her house was truly spectacular and made you feel like you were in a museum. Sharon was so accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. Hoping to stay here again in the future!”

Our stay at the Observatory was wonderful. The home was beautiful with a stunning art collection. Our rooms were all wonderfully appointed with luscious sheets and pillows. Just a half block from the Main Street, the home is both quiet and in the center of it all. The owners are delightful and wonderful with communication. We hope to go back! ”
