We had a wonderful week in Monterey. The location of the house is ideal - just a few minutes away from all Monterey has to offer and a 10 minute drive to Carmel. The house is large and spacious allowing everyone to have some private space. The kitchen is huge, well stocked and is a joy to cook in. The yard is incredible - multi levels with many areas to relax and unwind, a large hot tub and lots of fruit trees. Don't hesitate to book this home!”

Absolutely Beautiful House with ideal location!

The Monterey Estate was incredible. My wife and I flew into the Monterey airport; the house is about 5 minutes form the airport and very convenient. When we arrived we walked the house to look around. Every room is decorated beautifully and tastefully. The floor-plan is very spread out so if you had a large group you wouldn't be tripping over each other. When you walk out the back doors is when your mind will be blown. From the upper deck off the main living area you look down upon trellised, landscaped privacy that is hard to describe. Lush landscaping, plants and cacti, hammocks and comfortable seating. I could spend an hour describing how beautiful this back yard is. A friend that visited lovingly described it as "the drug cartels villa property that you see in movies". There is a gas fireplace on the upper area outside of the main living area with a directional gas heater over a large dining table if you wanted to eat outside in the cool nights. We spent almost every night outside after spending our days in Monterey, Carmel, Santa Cruz and surrounding areas. The location of this house is so convenient. Five minutes with zero traffic to downtown Monterey and Cannery Row. Ten minutes to Carmel on the Interstate or drive the scenic 17 mile drive to get there. While in the area we went whale watching where we saw multiple whales and were treated with the rare Orca sighting in addition to tons of other marine life. One night we went on a small sunset sailboat cruise. It was a small boat out of the wharf area. Six people and an 18 year old Captain. Great kid that really knew how to sail and entertain. We hiked, rode electric bikes on the PCH because of a washed out bridge, enjoyed cocktails while watching the sunsets from several cliff side restaurants. Everything was amazing! The owner was available for some minor questions and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend the Majestic Monterey Estate. Ten stars!! ”
