We couldn't have asked for a more perfect beach vacation! The Kays have thought of everything from light switch labels and directions to extra supplies, towels and beach gear. The house was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. This location cannot be beat as it sits almost in the water and is breathtakingly close to the ocean while sitting in the pool or hot tub. There is so much space for a family to spread out or a larger gathering to take place with comfortable room choices. To be honest, what started as a trip to the beach and Charleston became just a trip to the beach to enjoy the house!”

Mrs Kay is an incredible host. Southern Comfort is spectacular! I recommend this house to anyone who is looking for the finest that the low country has to offer. The view from the back deck overlooking the pool is truly breathtaking. The house is located within walking distance to The Boathouse restaurant which is one of my favorites. Exquisite Residence

There are no words to convey how magnificent this home was accommodating our large group of 8 women friends. A perfect location for our reunion. Every amenity was available, outstanding bedrooms and bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, views to the ocean from everywhere and steps from the sand. We lacked for nothing and made memories in such a warm and welcoming home to last us a lifetime. Many thanks we can't wsit to return.”

Southern Comfort!

We spent a FABULOUS week on the Isle of Palms at Southern Comfort. The house was the perfect setting for our family reunion. Everyone had an unforgettable time--ages ranged from 1 1/2 to 91 yrs and it worked perfectly. The house is right on the beach which we enjoyed day and night--we were there for a full Carolina moon. Everyone loved having their own bedroom with en suite bath and 6 of the bedrooms have ocean views. When I got back to Washington, I realized how much I missed hearing the ocean. The owners have thought of everything--beach toys for children and adults, pool table, ping pong, games, puzzles...hard to imagine a better vacation spot! The drive into Charleston is very easy so lots to see and do for everyone.”
