Perfect Sunshine combines the best in European design with a breathtaking Caribbean location. It allows you to indulge yourself in luxury, from the enormous four poster bed in the master bedroom to the 50 foot infinity pool; from the sculptures in the rooms to the hi-tech appliances; from the 600 thread sheets on the beds to the 20ft height of the airy reception areas.
Beyond all that are the views. Breathtaking is an over-used phrase. But even on this island of picture postcard vistas, the double views - azure seas one on side and a Norwegian-type fjord to the other - really do combine to take your breath away. We challenge you not to be amazed!
Perfect Sunshine stands on top of a hill, in just under an acre of grounds. It has air conditioning, but the sea breeze, and cleverly designed louvered windows mean that it is almost never necessary. The villa has 5 bedrooms sleeping 10 people, huge living space and a very large pool. It enjoys all modern amenities such as high speed wifi, allowing you to choose whether to unwind away from the world or to remain very much in touch.
All 5 gorgeous bedrooms have sea views and their own balconies. The Master Suite is the crowning glory, with its super-kingsize four-poster bed, and a luxurious en suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, walk-in shower and triple aspect views. The second bedroom also has a huge super-king sleigh bed with east-facing sea views and a bathroom with shower and hand-painted tiles. On the other floor are 3 bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed with its own large en suite bathroom. Then there are two further bedrooms - a twin with two single beds and a double bedroom. These two rooms share a bathroom with shower. Both bathrooms on this floor have tiles painted by an artist who loves the bright colours of the Caribbean.
?The Public Rooms??The villa has a designer kitchen, which combines the best in European contemporary living with a well thought out practical aspect. Its lime green and black high-gloss units from Italy create a thoroughly modern feel, whilst the Jenn-Air oven, hob and American fridge provide the latest high tech appliances. The kitchen is well equipped and even the plates and glasses match the theme – glass plates in black and green add an air of sophistication to even the simplest meals.
The reception room is both an indoor and an outdoor area. The huge sliding doors (almost 20 feet wide each) can be fully opened to create an enormous space, which encompasses the verandas to the east and west. The space is interior designed to the highest specification. There are Designers Guild sofas with matching floor furnishings, niches carved from the walls with sculptures created by European artists and glass vases which complement the colour scheme. A flat screen 42” TV allows guests to watch or films in the quiet evenings.
East Veranda - This large semi-circular centre-piece of the villa is where many choose to spend their time. It stretches from the kitchen to the master bedroom suite (over 100 feet in length). The mesmeric views towards Green Island and the constantly shifting light on the water offer a spectacular backdrop. For meals, there is a large table, directly in front of the kitchen. To relax, there are deckchairs as well as a decadent hammock. For sun worshipers, half the space is uncovered, whilst for those more keen on sitting out of the sun, there is plenty of shade. A breeze blows in from the Ocean, allowing guests to stay cool at even the hottest time of day. If the wind becomes too strong, as it does on occasions, the West Veranda is completely still, whatever the weather.
West Veranda - This outside space is an oasis of tranquility. With remarkable views onto the fjord, it is the ideal place to sit with a cocktail and watch the sun go down. A pair of solid oak tables invite you to eat, play cards and generally to make the most of this remarkable outside space. Again, the area is split between shade and direct sun.
The villa is part of the prestigious development at NonSuch Bay, which benefits from some great facilities. There is a top class restaurant serving all meals - from breakfast to dinner and there are several communal swimming pools. For those who love the water there are extensive watersports. Sailing is taught and different sailing boats can also be rented - elites and small dinghies. Wind surfing and kite-boarding are also particular favorites. The resort benefits from 24 hour security.
The villa is located 30 minutes from the airport. Antigua airport is well served by international flights, with many direct flights each week from the US and from Europe, especially the UK and Italy.
Near to the villa there are all sorts of things to do - there’s the historic Nelson’s dockyard, busy St John’s with its many shops and of course Antigua has 365 beaches to visit - one for each day of the year.
