Best Spot On Frenchman St

We had a wonderful stay at The Frenchman. If the New Orleans music scene is your thing there is simply no better location. The apartment is clean and well appointed. The owners have done a great job of soundproofing so that when you’re inside you can hardly hear the party below. The only downside is that the soundproofing makes it impossible to open any windows. It would be a plus to be able to open something during the day before the party starts. The owners are very pleasant, communicative, and helpful. We had a wonderful time.”

Great food and music close by. As previously mentioned the unit is above the club 30/90 so there is noise but we enjoyed the music and not too loud. We plan to return!”

Just outside the French Quarter, on historic street known for live music and great food, The Frenchman is the perfect location to enjoy the best of New Orleans. Easy walk to Jackson Square and everything in the quarter. The apartment is luxurious with everything you need and even though above a nightclub, surprisingly quiet. We could barely hear the party below. The city skyline view from the roof at sunset is not to be missed. CJ even gave us a personal tour of the city. Much appreciated. ”

The condo on Frenchman was absolutely beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. It is well stocked with anything that you may need and the furnishing are beautiful as well as extremely comfortable. It is just a walk to the middle of the French Quarter but there is plenty to do right on Frenchman if you want to stay close to home. The owners are so kind and helpful and we look forward to staying at The Frenchman again soon.”

Extraordinary New Orleans Experience

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was not only unique with a panoramic view of the city from the rooftop, the layout was perfect for our group of four, beds comfortable and location was absolutely spectacular - walking distance from french quarter and the best music around on Frenchman. The host was the best part - he provided local tips and awesome restaurant recommendations - and was extremely responsive to questions. We would be honored to stay at this lovely home again!”

We had a wonderful trip. The owners, Mary and CJ, we so kind and fun. They met us upon check-in, showed us around their home and how to access everything, and shared a dozen oysters brought up from the jazz club below and a welcome drink. The condo is top notch, extremely clean and comfortable. And the supersized rooftop deck was unbelievable. The location on Frenchman Street has it's own unique vibe and is within walking distance to the French Quarter and even to Bourbon Street. We hope to make it back soon.”

The owners live in the area, met us at the condo, showed us around, gave us recommendations of where to eat( many within walking distance) We were in walking distance of the street car. We had music all around us. It was a terrific week”

Such a Wonderful Place

One of our Best trips ever. Our host, CJ and Mary Minor are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. They were available 24/7 to answer any and all of our questions. They gave us fantastic suggestions for dining and entertainment. Every Restaurant and Music venue we went to exceeded our expectations. The Frenchman is a large and Comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. The Beds were extremely comfy.and cozy. The best of the best, is the Private Roof Top patio. The only one of its kind as far as we could see. We spent sunrises and sunsets looking over the city. It was breath taking. We had an absolutely Fantastic vacation. PS- I know some have said music could be heard in the apartment, you can barely hear it. We Slept very well in the big comfy beds.”

Jazz Lover’s Paradise

This apartment is a jazz lover’s paradise. The street is lined with jazz clubs and restaurants, and the apartment is located directly above a nightclub. Music will be playing all day and all night. The location is close to most attractions and it is easy to get around. The hosts are wonderful people and made the trip very easy. *WARNING: The bar downstairs was noisy with live music until 4am every night.”

The Frenchman Apartment is fabulous to experience and enjoy New Orleans Although Located above a bar/restaurant which plays music until 4 AM the apartment is very well insulated and if you are a light sleeper Mary and CJ Minor the owners of Frenchman have some earplugs on the night stand. . Mary and C J are New Orleans Natives and Fabulous people. We enjoyed many of their recommendations regarding restaurants and things to see and were able to spend some fabulous time with them. I hope that we will be able to visit them again and that they will have the opportunity to visit us herein California ,Aspen, or at another 3rd home destination. We definitely plan to return”
