April 2024Almost Perfect
This property was extremely beautiful and had every amenity you could think of. It had super high-end finishes, and the restaurants were delicious and had great variety. The view was great although not directly looking at the ocean which would have put it over the top for us. We were only disappointed in one thing which was the plan that they sell you which is similar to an all inclusive but you pre pay for a certain amount so that you don't have to use CC or Cash. Well long st ory short the Mexican Peso conveniently changed value and although I watched our spending and came within $50 of spending the $2000 I put down I had to end up paying them $150 MORE when I we only spent $1950. That felt like a money grab to me but other than that the place was amazing and night life on site was 2nd to none. ”

The villa was exceptional and very luxurious. The par 3 course right next to the villa was a huge bonus and lots of fun. First class condition. Huge resort and very well organized. Many varieties of restaurants and pools and so much to choose from. We highly recommend this resort. ”

June 2024Beautiful suite within HUGE resort
Beautiful 3 BR suite with amazing patio overlooking river and golf course. Friendly, very nice staff. Resort is amazing but a bit overwhelming in size. It took us well over an hour to check in, over an hour to get our car at times, and lots of additional time to wait for golf carts to transport us around the resort (necessary unless you like long walks). Overall a wonderful place if you don't mind waiting extra time for things. ”

April 2024Vidanta World
Huge property, We travel quite often to Mexico, and this is our new number one resort. Has the feel of a tropical rainforest as you walk throughout the property. Multiple pools with plenty of seating. Food was outstanding, however, a little pricey. Attended a sales presentation, which was over the top with sales pressure. Totally ruined that day for us. Two great 18 hole golf courses, As well as a par three course that rivals the one at Augusta national. It even has stadium lighting, giving you the opportunity to play up until 10 o’clock at night. Definitely unique experience at this property and would love to go back someday.”

October 2022Fabulous birthday getaway
We had a great experience at the hotel - lots of pools and restaurants to explore. We even ventured off property one day and enjoyed a tequila distillery tour and local eats. Great stay!”

October 2023Luxury at the highest level!
As years go by the suits need some Updating but the grounds are beautiful!! Prices have gone up considerably since our last stay! Ventured into PV and did a fishing Trip- awesome! Only reason for a 4 star Is the new level of pressure on the time share presentation! It got down to free and they still pressured! Only reason to do dog and pony was the 5 free keys! ”

August 2023Vidanta is a beautiful resort with excellent service
We very much enjoyed our stay at Vidanta. Vidanta is clean and beautiful, with excellent service! We enjoyed the food at all of the restaurants, everything was delicious. The only thing we would do differently is stay at another time of year, as it was quite crowded and very warm and humid. But the resort, the pools and the spas were all excellent. ”

July 2023Nice
The apartment was very plush & nice but the services were very impersonal, ordinary & on the whole extremely expensive. The resort is so far due to traffic issues that just to get to PV you had to spend an hour and a quarter. One could not swim on the beach easily as the lifeguard said there were crocodiles from the nearby river. The whole experience is meant to keep you locked up in the resort spending every dollar on the resort. A very expensive experience that we won’t be repeating. ”

June 2023Beatiful resort but dissapointed in service
First off this was our 3rd stay at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta. Unfortunately things have changed quite a bit since our last visit. While checking in there is high presser sales for the timeshare presentation. We informed them we booked through Thired Home and we were not interesed, but that did not deter them. It took an addition hour at least to check in because of this. You can't get poolside drinks till 11:00 am and poolside food servicd till noon. Some of the staff is excellent but overall the service has gone downhill. The resort shuttle service has gone downhill from our last 2 visits. The new Salum down by the beach they advertised is a waist of time. Not much food to choose from and food throuout the resort has gone downhill in quality. We are still deciding if we will return in the future. ”

May 2023Outstanding stay and experience.
The whole experience was amazing. I'm pretty sure they gave us an upgraded room as well. The service level was absolutely outstanding. I like the Nuevo Vallarta resort feel better than Riviera Maya overall, but feel the food was better at Riviera. The pools a NV were amazing, and the poolside food was really good. The nightly shows were amazing, and the downtown PV area about 40 minutes away by cab was AMAZING. We will be back for sure. ”

September 2022Relaxing vacation
Beautiful room with a dedicated massage room. The service is implacable in this resort. The room was great the massage room was a waisted space if you are not in to getting massages, but if you are then it’s a great setting. Coffee is served in the lobby from 5am to 8:30 I wish they started it later and extended till 10 am. They started a concert series which was very interesting, unfortunately we forgot to inquire about the concerts but they were some very well known county singers. All together we love coming to this resort. ”

June 2022Horrible, sales pitches and impossible to navigate
Literally the worst vacation of our collective lives. This place is pure marketing and facade. We were so incredibly disappointed and infuriated day in and day out. The check in, sales pitches, and day to day living are just overwhelming and quite awful. We all spent the entire trip wondering the same thing- how the place functions with so many angry and desperate guests everywhere. They do not mention it’s almost 3,000 rooms and 42 restaurants and that you have to take a shuttle literally everywhere. We did not understand this in the reviews but once we arrived it was like Disneyland from hell. Literally you do nothing but sit in lines all day to try to move around. Several glaring problems were not addressed and the 8,000 staff (yes you read that number right) is extremely undertrained and unprofessional. We are super disappointed after much effort trying to rectify the situation we left early.”

June 2021Great for families
We stayed with a group ranging from four years old to seventy and it was the perfect place. The kids club was a huge bonus and so the adults could enjoy the many different pools and beach for a few hours. We found wonderful food locally and loved walking and exploring this most beautiful region. ”

May 2021INCREDIBLE SERVICE. EVEN MORE AMAZIN BOOKING. MY GUESTS & I FELT LIKE ROYALTY.
My booking through Thirdhome was INCREDIBLE!! Everyone is so nice, respectful, and super easy to work with. They made booking my trip for my group of 10 AMAZING and I can’t wait to book with them again. My guests and I got 5 Star treatment both from Thirdhome and the resort they connect us with. I have never had service like this in my life, I felt like a King and I know my guests will I’ll surely say the same. The room was more than I could have ever imagined and it was one of the best trips of my life! Thank you for everything Thirdhome!”

May 2021Vidanta is our home away from home!
We used to travel to Hawaii several time a year, but now we prefer Mexico for easy travel, fre restrictions! The staff at Vidanta are kind and friendly. Food is great, lots of fun onsite activities. Only negative is the required covid test. We have had many covid tests in the past in USA. Everyone in our group thought it was THE WORST EVER experience. Felt like nurse was cutting brain matter from deep inside my nose. Wish they had option to spit in tube, or use soft qtip. ”

August 2021Wonderful experience
We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Luxxe Vidanta. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and gracious. We were staying for the week and absolutely did not want to leave. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and extremely spacious! The resort itself was very large and took a bit to get used too but had amazing food and lots of pools & activities!! We would love to return soon!”

The Vidanta Property, Grand Luxe Three Bedroom was beautiful accommodation. There were Concierge's on every floor to help you with any need or question. The resort was magnificent for all ages. From multiple pools, waterpark, golf and many great eateries. Eateries were casual to fancy and all good. Everything was convenient by walking or by a shuttle system. ”

July 2021Great service
I enjoyed the staff and service of the Vidanta. They were amazing. The pools were very nice but many of them a long walk from the condo. Also the ocean water was very brown which is not at all what I had expected based on photos. This place reminds me of Disney World. If your idea of vacation is going on tours, being around a lot of people, there’s tons of activities - lazy river, water slide, beach, shows at night. This is all great. But I prefer a quiet pool/beach just to relax. Unfortunately there’s really no place just for this. There’s only one adults only pool and the adults get pretty rowdy. For my daughter and her friends in their 20’s there wasn’t much nightlife available either. We did go off site once for dinner to PVR but it was a long taxi ride in stop and go traffic. I would highly recommend Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta if you have small children; or looking for somewhere in Mexico that you don’t have to leave the property snd don’t mind waiting in lines to get into restaurants, being around a lot of people. Sort of Luke a cruise in one location. I do want to reiterate the staff were amazing. We had a couple small issues and they took care of it immediately. Great service!. ”

June 2021vidanta great family vacaccion
Vidanta is a great place for a family vacation. love it. Make sure they get a room with a view because they assigned me one overlooking a parking lot without sun and even if I asked for a better room it could never be granted.”

May 2021Wonderful!
The accommodations were stunning and the property is huge with tons of great options for activities. There are a plethora of pools with different vibes at each, so you can find the right fit for everyone. The staff was super friendly and happy to help. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we will be returning. Thanks!”

May 20215 Star Luxury & Gorgeous Accommodations
We spent a week with our friends at the Grand Luxxe - Tower IV. They fully enjoyed all of the pools, the Quinto restaurant, the swim up bars and relaxation. We loved the lazy river and wave pools too. Definitely go to the shows at night. They are really good and very entertaining. The concierge in Tower IV was always courteous and helpful. She scheduled massages and dinner reservations for us. I feel that her service was exceptional. In fact, all the service you receive around the massive property wont disappoint. Everyone is focused on making sure they make your vacation the best it can be. ”

April 2021VIdanta Grand Luxxe
The property is amazing and the rooms are wonderful with great air conditioning. The check in process is excruciating and took over 2 hours. The hard sell to try the timeshare breakfast bordered on inappropriate. They really need to work on a better check in process. However, the restaurants are wonderful.”

April 2021Week Stay
Accommodations and facilities are very nice and well maintained. Covid related cleaning was very good. It's a 5 star physical facility. The staff tries hard and is very friendly but information provided in response to questions is inconsistent. You receive different responses from staff about amenities and charges and it takes more effort than it should to make arrangements to use certain amenities and understand the discounts available. There's no reason why it cannot all be coded on a card so that it's much easier to access the amenities and know the cost. More coordination and training is needed. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the sales approach. The representative at check in overstates the benefits as part of the pitch to attend a sales presentation.. The only true negative is an aggressive sales presentation to buy a time share. It's inconsistent with the overall approach of the resort.”

April 2021Nuevo Vallarta Grand Luxxe
We were so looking forward to our first stay in a Vidanta Grand Luxxe however we were disappointed!! As beautiful as the resort is and as friendly as the staff is- we expected the room to be beautiful and well appointed and it was not! Two lampshades falling apart-ripped and badly stained! Be very aware that the timeshare sales of Vidanta are notoriously extremely hard sell- unbelievably aggressive!”

April 2021We had a great week. Here’s my scoop
The Vidanta is a breathtakingly beautiful property. The grounds are amazing. The staff is superb. It is a MASSIVE resort. If you are one who likes to arrive at your resort and never leave, this is your place. The trams transport you around the massive property, or there are gorgeous walkways to and from the entire property. The gym (there are multiple) is massive and has great equipment. Pools are great and chairs are easily acquired. There was a washer and dryer on each floor for a small fee. The room had 2 king suites and a suite with two doubles. It had a kitchen with microwave, stovetop and toaster oven (for the oven). The deck is massive with table and chairs, loungers and a plunge pool. Get a room facing the ocean, not the golf course. Note, It takes a good amount of time to leave the property. If you like to explore PV, it’s takes about 25-30 to exit the property. They are extremely covid safe. Maybe one of the cleanest resorts I’ve ever stayed at to date. It’s a quick trip to/from the airport. Less than 20 minutes once you exit the resort. ”

March 2021Fabulous customer service!
We book Grand Luxxe at Vidanta last minute due to some Spring Break weather. First the ThirdHome staff was amazing at taking care of us and making adjustments to our vacation. Vidanta is a huge property but so well maintained. Grand Luxxe is part of the Residence Club on the property with daily housekeeping, top notch concierge services not to mention the beautiful condo. Vidanta is an easy 30-45min taxi ride outside of PV, 1hr from Sayulita and 5min from lots of restaurant's in Nuevo Vallarta. Great vacation!”

February 2021Highly recommend
We spent a very relaxing week at Vidanta in February. The grounds were beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They were very clean and expressed their gratitude for our visit daily. During this pandemic the resort is operating with very few guests so it seemed like our own private resort. The food and amenities were top notch as were the housekeeping staff and the concierge services. We hope to return again soon. ”

Beautiful three bedroom suite with a fantastic view of Puerto Vallarta. Ample hotel with many restaurants, swimming pools, large gym and access to a very peaceful beach. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would definitely go back.”

November 2020Wonderful and Safe !
My family enjoyed a superb and very safe vacation at Vidanta. We felt even safer than at home in Denver. All staff wear masks and shields. Everywhere they check temperature and offer disinfectant. Every 30 minutes bells chime asking personnel to disinfect hands, chairs, tables, etc. The weather being nice, we can be outdoors at all times. The food and service are top of the line. Highly recommend you visit. ”

December 2019Gorgeous top of the line luxury penthouse suite
This is a gorgeous, top of the line luxury penthouse-type suite. It is two levels with a view onto one of the golf courses. The two story high windows open wide to a palatial deck, with plenty of seating and a soaking pool. The master suite was amazing with a view of the soaking pool, large soaking tub, waterfall shower head in the shower, and extra full bathroom on the main level for guests. The upstairs provides a private retreat for a second couple with a second master suite and a room with two doubles along with a comfortable pull out bed. There was daily maid service that was top notch, attention to detail, and friendly. The turn down service included gourmet chocolates. The unit had a washer & dryer. There is a special concierge for the Platinum level where the unit is located. The tap water throughout the resort is safe to drink. The pools are amazing and there were literally too many to count. The plate of fruit on arrival was a nice surprise. Check in time was 5 pm and I would not expect to get into the room earlier than that. Check out time is 10 am and I doubt extensions are ever provided. Some of the holes on the Jack Nicklaus course seemed to be under repair. The Greg Norman course is amazing. A caddy (mandatory cost of $45) is required on both of the 18-hole courses. Our caddy Leo was amazing and we requested him each day. There are plenty of activities around the pools. We did not hang out on the beach or go into the ocean. The waves looked a bit rough. The view of the Sierra Madres, the ocean, and the sunsets were amazing throughout the resort. The wildlife, including the variety of birds, were awesome. We saw several crocodiles on the course, which was fun! We also saw many iguanas and bearded dragons around the pool. On the course, we saw basilisk lizards (the lizard that runs on the water and is also known as the Jesus Christ lizard). There must have been mosquitos, which I didn’t see, but had many welts over my body to know they were out. The nighttime golf was super fun, but may have been the source of the mosquito bites. We enjoyed the wave pool and our son really liked the slide! There are numerous restaurants with some waiters focused on up-selling, which can be annoying. The resort restaurant prices are largely comparable to US resort prices ($12 for a margarita). There are wooden walkways throughout the entire resort. It has a wonderful tropic feel to it. At check-in only, we were asked to consider a “timeshare-type” presentation. The presentation was longer than the promised 2 hours, but was interesting, and the perks were a bit less, in some respects, than what was promised. Overall, it was worth the time involved. Puerto Vallarta is an easy taxi ride. The cost was approximately $18 into the city. There are wonderful restaurants and activities in PV. Uber operates in PV. Walking along the Malecon in PV is a wonderful way to spend an evening. We would return to this resort and in particular this unit in a heartbeat! We strongly recommend it.”

November 2019Extremely large complex with tons of things to do
The unit is extremely large and very luxurious. There are tons of things to do there and enough restaurants to try a different one every day. If there is a downside to this place it is not Very Mexican. All in all it was a very good stay and I would rate the place five star”

October 2019Relaxing in luxury
I spent the week relaxing pool and beach side at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta with my husband and 3 young children. The weather was nothing but spectacular and the resort is nothing short of luxury. You can check out a new pool everyday and a new restaurant for every meal. There is something to please everyone. It is a perfect place for a family vacation. Something to keep in mind is that the waves are a bit rough and the water is somewhat turned up because of the rough waves. My kids loved jumping in the waves but definitely not for the faint of heart. ”
