May 2023Fantastic Bay View Home
We loved our stay. The home had great location for hiking, biking, surfing, and generally exploring Nanaimo. It’s close to terrific restaurants, but we also enjoyed eating in, watching the tides roll in and out. Dockside firepit was especially appreciated, as was the fun of watching a black bear over the week as he (she?) foraged along a neighboring shore. Communication was easy, house is beautiful, and Nanaimo is a special place.”

May 2023Tofino Paradise
Wow—still riding the Tofino high from our week at this beautiful home that is nestled in the calm and peaceful Jensen’s Bay. Tidal flats back up to the wall of windows that invite star gazing, wildlife viewing (we watched a bear all day feed on fresh sedge grass at the far edge of the forest) and birdwatching. Loved the cal waters and the owner provided kayaks and boards. Will definitely want to return.”
