Description

Point B

Located on a greenbelt forest preserve in one of California's oldest neighborhoods, this luxury home was designed as a comfortable place to wind down or plan your next adventure. Just minutes to the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links and others of the Monterey Peninsula's exquisite golf courses, a ten minute drive to high-end shopping and art galleries In Carmel-By-The-Sea, beaches, Fisherman's Wharf, and Cannery Row in Monterey, you will enjoy the convenience of the home and still have plenty of room for optimal relaxation.

The family room features a corner gas-log fireplace, comfortable couches, and flows into the chef's kitchen and dining area so that everyone can hang out together no matter what time of day. For additional seating, the den is accessed through a charming barn door and features an ocean-themed stained concrete floor. It has a cheery skylight and vaulted ceilings along with a 70" television for sporting events and entertainment. The entire house is connected with Sonos wireless speakers for musical ambiance.

The kitchen was designed to enable the preparation of both feasts and everyday meals. A gas oven for baking, an electric oven for roasting and a counter top oven that does everything from air fry to dehydrate are waiting for you. The center island houses a wine refrigerator as well as a drawer microwave. Three counter stools are perfect for casual dining or chef's company.

The dining room was custom designed to accommodate a 9' x 5' table and has views of the oaks and pines and thousands of flowers that surround the stunning home. Enjoy the homey fire as you dine, or the California outdoors for scenery right from the table.

All of the bedrooms have Sleep Number beds, large TVs and two of them have en-suite bathrooms. The master suite has a king-size bed and amazing views of the yard. A soothing fountain is located in the master bedroom atrium and just steps outside of the bedroom is the hot tub. The master bathroom has a stunning marble double vanity and huge walk-in shower.

The front yard has cobblestone off-street parking for up to seven vehicles and, of course, a two-car garage. The landscaping is both spectacular and comfortable featuring a sitting area, copper lighting and accents throughout as well as copper wind sculptures by famed artist Lyman Whitaker.

The private backyard seemingly goes on forever into the forest preserve beyond the deer fence. It is accessed through three sets of french doors that open onto the natural stone patio that encompasses over 750 square feet and has casual seating for 16+. Flowers of all sorts can be found throughout including giant pots, hanging baskets and in-ground flower beds.

The complete outdoor kitchen features a natural gas Bar-B-Que, side burner, refrigerator and sink. Extra seating area is nearby for casual entertaining. All totaled there is seating for 45+ in the backyard. The kitchen is located adjacent to the redwood pavilion that houses a comfortable couch, two lounge chairs and table plus a dining table for 8, dimmable lighting and two 6,000 watt electric heaters for chilly Monterey summers.

There is also a natural gas-fed fire pit with rocking chairs, warm blankets and lots of additional seating for chilly evenings.

At the back fence line you'll find a bocce ball court for friendly competitions. There are corn hole and ladder-ball sets as well. The flow out back is perfect for friendly gatherings or quiet evenings alone.

The garage has an electric car charger with a Tesla adapter if needed.

Located near California's best golf, sightseeing, beaches, and of course wineries, there is plenty to do both inside and out of this lovely home. Further down the road are Carmel Valley wineries, Highway 1 and the California Coast plus Big Sur. If it isn't super close, you can easily hop on the highway allowing your vacation to flow smoothly. Point B is the perfect home for your authentic Northern Califronia getaway.

Warm, inviting and wonderful

We had a lovely time at Point B. The house was homey and charming, the garden incredible with a full dining room out under a gazebo and bocci court. The house is conveniently located. The primary en suite is large and bright, the king en suite is compact and queen bedroom has a full bathroom across the hall. Great kitchen. The Hosts were fantastic.”

Wonderful gardens!

Our family really enjoyed our time at Point B, a well loved and beautifully maintained property. In addition to a fully renovated house, the yard is a unique wonderland full of beautiful flowers, a lighted and heated dining gazebo and grill, hot tub, fire pit, and the biggest hit- an amazing bocce ball court. The hosts were very gracious as well.”

Beautiful Sanctuary

The house has everything and more. Bocce ball, hot tub, gorgeous covered outdoor dining, grill, etc as well as outdoor heaters and extra blankets so we had 2 dining rooms. The spacious house is located in a quiet area but only a 6 minute walk to Del Monte Shopping Center and a short drive or bike ride to downtown Monterrey. The landscaping is mature and lovingly taken care of. Best of all is the kitchen. We had a gourmet chef with us and he very much enjoyed finding and using many of the appliances, etc to make fantastic dinners. Hope to make a return visit.”
