Fantastic

This condo is an unbelievable place to stay for a great vacation. I am really glad that we rented a car & a golf cart for the week. The main roads are not great with pot holes so you have to be careful especially driving on the left side. The pools and the beach are super easy to get to and the restaurants are really good. All of the wait staff and employees are beyond nice! We will certainly be returning. Thanks to the owners for a perfectly manicured condo.........”

Grand Isle Resort

The accommodations at Grand Isle Resort were lovely and the staff friendly and responsive. The beach is a short walk away as is the Restaurent on the property. Service at the Restaurent is a bit slow, (so, do allow extra time for that), but food was tasty. The golf course is right on the water and is deceptively difficult...which my husband loved, as he always likes a challenging course to play. We had a wonderful time with our family and appreciate the opportunity to stay there. Thank you, Diane Boone”

Summer in Exuma

We had an amazing time in Exuma. The villa is beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. The staff are well trained, friendly and attentive. The worst part was coming home! ”

Exceeding expectations

Grand Isle was a lovely resort! The Staff was very accommodating, the Restaurant was delicious, the grounds were beautifully landscaped and maintained and the 3 bedroom villa we stayed in definitely exceeded our expectations! We loved the beach, riding around in the golf cart and the spa was also very nice. We would absolutely stay again, but we would now know that it will cost an additional $1,070 to stay.”

Lovely Resort

Grand Isle is very well maintained and a very pleasant resort. Our unit was well appointed and comfortable. Despite the promise, the ocean views from our upper floor windows were past other buildings and through trees on the property. The beautiful beach is easily accessible, as are the resort's ocean kayaks, SUP boards, snorkels, etc...however, read the small print - this resort comes with a daily fee ranging from $72 to $142. ”

Wonderful escape

Took some of my extended family members to Grande Isle. Service was immaculate in the residence and all of the facilities. Staff was very attentive. Only one restaurant but food and service excellent and the menu selections were extensive. Exuma is quiet and the pace slow, but it was what we expected. ”

Extraordinary Exumas

This resort was beautiful and very well kept. We actually "rented" two villas, a two bedroom ocean front and a 3 bedroom ocean view. The villas were very well decorated and well equipped. Our views were fabulous and the resort, pool, and beach area was extremely clean. The restaurant onsite was very good also. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that my husband and I had to pay $67.00 per day to use the tennis courts on the Sandals Resort next door. The golf course was in decent shape and the back nine is gorgeous with five of the holes having sweeping ocean views. The rate to play golf is $125 per person for 18 holes which we did not think was too bad. The people on the island are extremely friendly and helpful. There did not appear to be any crime. I would suggest renting a car if you are going to venture out very often. We did not rent a car and the cab fare to go into Georgetown was $40-$50 one way. There is not much traffic on the island and I would have loved to have been able to rent a bicycle to see the area, but there were none to be found. We took the Elvis water taxi to Stocking Island and hung out on the beach near the Chat n' Chill restaurant - very good day. We also took a half day boating excursion with The Four Cs which was quite fun.”

Spectacular

WOW my family and I (6 people in total ) enjoyed this luxurious villa for two consecutive weeks. quite frankly it was wonderful the compound only seems to have about 75 total units and we found ours to be nice and private. We had two terraces....one on the ground level with a garden outside our master bedroom, which was excellent for our early morning coffee. The other was upstairs outside the living and dining rooms and very nice for a late day drink and sunset view. the beach was truly specatular.....one of the nicest we have been on. It stretched for more than 1.5 miles in a beautiful crescent shape and we walked it many times. Just perfect. there is a challenging golf course that wraps around the property which was a good resource. we found the restaurant to be interesting and good (but not fussy at all) with very high quality beef and fresh fish. the water around Exuma is some of the best in the world. We rented a boat several days down in Georgetown and enjoyed the water and the many undeveloped islands in the large harbor area all in all....a 5 star get away thank you fellow 3rd home member.”
