Wonderful resort in a gorgeous location

The two bedroom, two bathroom suite was large and well set up. Beds and other furniture was comfortable. Staff was very professional and friendly. The views from the balcony were really nice and the pool was wonderful. There is nice a tennis/pickleball court, and many great restaurants a short walk away. We would love to return.”

Love Sedona

Centrally located to all you need to see in Sedona. We visited during the pandemic so many of the ammenities were closed. Linens & towels were very nice, kitchen was well appointed for cooking. The pool was lovely, and refreshing after along day of hiking. The decor is a bit dated, but we were not in the room much.”

Disappointing

No hot water and noise from upper unit occupants resulted in our leaving 2 days early. Management was non-responsive. Only good thing to say is the location is great. ”

Pinon Ponte Review - disappointed

Aloha, Let me start by saying the property and location are 5 Star.. However, our experience was not so much that. When we arrived they gave us a unit that felt like we were in a cave.. we went down stairs to our unit. We returned to the front desk and, after awhile, we were given a better unit that was lighter and close to the pool and amenities. Not great, but better. We will never use our keys at a resort that is not an Owner Owned Unit. We discovered that when it is just a time share situation, they can give you any unit they have available. The other negative is that it is only available for 4 nights rather than the normal 7 when using your keys. 7 nights is not available because of the quality of the resort. I don't feel that this type of accommodation and the length of stay is worth the keys spent to be here. There are many beautiful places to stay in Sedona. I hope this helps you in your travel accommodation decisions.”

Great location in the center of Sedona

We spent two 4 night stays with a day in between at Grand Canyon. We had a very good time at this time share. We were on the middle level of the 3 storey building with a great view. Time share owners had the best top level, but anyone on the lower level had a dark unit with no view. Property is not owned by Hyatt but by Interval Leisure Group, and just uses the Hyatt name (they will try to sell you a time share). Property is not up to Hyatt hotel quality, and our unit in the older side had aging furniture that needed to be replaced (front desk said it would be in next few months). When we arrived at night we were given a flashlight to get to our unit as grounds are very dark. Lots of stairs (69 steps up/down to our unit from parking lot). 4 keys for 4 nights is too much to pay and property is only worth $1M+ at inflated time share pricing. Short walking distance to restaurants/shopping. Pool area is very nice. Michael, the owner, was helpful and easy to communicate with. Sedona has spectacular views and ~100 hiking trails for all levels. ”

Sedona - breathtaking

The Hyatt is Sedona is wonderful. Great location and great amenities. We spent 4 nights there in early March 2017. We hiked, biked, ran and dined all with amazing backdrops at each turn. It was like being on the set of a Disney movie. So wonderful it sometimes looked artificial. Accommodation was very spacious for 2 adults and 3 kids. Michael (the owner) was very easy and efficient to deal with. Entire trip went without a hitch. Thank you very much from all of us.”
