May 2024Quick Mountain Getaway
The property is gorgeous and great if you want to get away, but not too far away. It had all the amenities you could ask for and a great separate house for the kids to stay in. Was close enough to Asheville to enjoy the shopping and excellent restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.”

July 2023Tranquil and Beautiful Accommodation
Really enjoyed staying at farmhouse. Accommodation was super. Our son and girlfriend used cottage. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. We truly relaxed on this vacation. Location was ideal with a short drive to Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway. Kirk, the owner, was most helpful in providing us tips on what to do and shop. Air conditioning failed due to frozen pipe. Within hours of reporting, the unit was fixed. We highly recommend this property.”

June 2023The most relaxing vacation spot
Only 20 minutes from Asheville, this charming property's location makes you think you are a hundred miles from city life. Even though we went into Asheville several times to the Biltmore Estate and fabulous restaurants and eclectic shopping, most of our vacation week was spent on the porch overlooking the pond watching the wildlife and chilling out. We saw a family of geese, bluebirds, a cow and her calf, and a little hedgehog! The setting is the ideal spot to unwind and appreciate the beauty of nature and the mountain location. Waynesville, just 15 minutes away, is a cute little town with several excellent restaurants. But we always wanted to retreat back to our cottage on the pond. What a hidden gem in the North Carolina hills!”
