Amazing!

This property was awesome! The 2 bedroom/2 bath suite was beautiful, clean and fully equipped properly. Daily cleaning and turn down service was provided. Beautiful views of Aspen from our balcony and while walking grounds. The dining on property was first class, staff was very professional and personable. Bellman staff for 24/7 assistance. They provided a shuttle to and from downtown Aspen every 30 minutes from 8am-10pm. We also loved spending time at the heated pool area. Our concierge -Carli contacted me before our visit. She provided local sightseeing and event information. After reviewing her suggestions Carli set up a daily itinerary that was exactly what we wanted-it was perfect! She made us dinner reservations and was available for any additional assistance. She even gave us a sweet parting gift. The Ritz - Carlton had special daily events on property-Guest Artist, Wine tastings and my favorite the 5:45-6:00 Manhattan Cocktails in the lobby. The Ritz - Carlton Aspen is in our top 3 vacations! Top Notch

There’s a reason the Ritz has a recognizable brand and is known world wide. Our stay was 5 stars all around. The condo was large and spacious, the staff always attentive and any amenity a guest would need was offered. We biked, e-bikes to Maroon Bells, to town, went horseback riding , visited Ashcroft ghost town and enjoyed the great restaurants in town and the one on property. There is a complimentary shuttle to town for guests. Thank you to the helpful owner and for offering this wonderful week. ”

Only disappointment was this particular unit 8404 is in a weird part of the building with very limited light, no outdoor space, very dark. Didn’t matter we were only there for six days. We had a lot to do. We had a great time.”

Ski vacation perfection

This was our 4th trip to the Ritz Aspen, and it is always delightful. We are made to feel welcome and appreciated. And even though we were there after Aspen Highlands had closed for the season (we skied closing day), the connections to AJAX and Snowmass were easy. The mountains were uncrowded and the sun shining. We enjoyed meeting Ritz members at the various cocktails and events. For the first time, we stayed at the White River Lodge building. I always th ought Elkhorn was the better building but now that I’ve experienced White River Lodge, I can attest that both are excellent. We enjoy exploring new ski resorts and go in multiple trips per year, but our annual trip to the Ritz has become a family highlight and we are grateful for the opportunity. ”

We had a typically great time at the Ritz Aspen Highlands. Wonderful place in June especially for my birthday. It's interesting that so many people say June is their favorite time in Aspen (much less the Ritz Highland) ... probably because of fewer people. We always love the place and the people and keep going back. I would say housekeeping, as precious and wonderful as they all are, were a little bit inconsistent. Sometimes we'd get three wash cloths, sometimes 2 and one time none. Same with face towels. Not a deal killer, to be sure, but this is THE RITZ, if you know what I mean. A great spring trip in Aspen

We loved our stay in Aspen. The staff was super attentive to our every need. We enjoyed the shuttle to Snowmass on the days we chose to go there. And skiing Highlands was so convenient. The pool was heated warm enough that it was a pleasure to swim even when the air was cold. Our condo was spacious and the beds were super comfortable. We hope to have the chance to return. ”

Awesome Ski Vacation

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful time here. It may be hard to ski / snowboard any other way after this vacation. Both the accommodations and the staff were awesome! We enjoyed the pool and spa daily after hitting the slopes. Highlands is a beautiful mountain and so convenient right outside the Ritz. However, it was a bit challenging for some of us so we often took the 10 minute shuttle to Buttermilk which was a good match for my skill level. Thank you so much to the owner who shared their time here with us! It was much appreciated :) ”

We would highly recommend the Ritz Carlton Aspen Highlands for anyone looking to be pampered and well taken care of during your holiday! We were very impressed with William, the concierge who greeted us after a long day of being stuck in traffic with a warm welcome and super helpful bellhop to get everything and us settled in our room quite quickly! We were very pampered throughout the week from the wonderful housekeeping staff, Johnny the Bellman/Valet who was AWESOME all week! William made a great impression with the type of service you offer at the White River Lodge, he scheduled a golf outing for my husband and friend that proved to be a super fun course, he got the firepit going for us one evening and then surprised us with Smores! We had a great time! We were looking to R&R and that we did!! Thank you again for all the special treatment, we look forward to our next visit! The Games crew!”

Our first visit to Aspen was at the Ritz, which was a great location for us. Our unit was spacious, and the well-stocked kitchen made it easy to eat in. The complimentary shuttle to town is convenient and there is a path nearby for the times we decided to walk or bike in. The pool and hot tub were great, although sometimes it was hard to find a spot as people go early and put a few belongings down. We got an early start and drove to the Maroon Bells while the road was open (the buses depart from this location) and loved visiting such a beautiful place. We also were able to hike and fish nearby. All of the Ritz staff we had contact with were so helpful and kind. We would love to visit here again.”

The aspen Ritz was not as luxurious or well equipped as Vail and Beaver Creek. The concierge we had was not as professional, not knowing how to get places, not following up properly. The spa steam and only shower were broken for 2 days, and although the manager was quite apologetic and offered me small gifts, it's unusual to see a Ritz property like this. I also had two things go missing from my room, and I am still going through insurance with difficulty. Aspen Highlands mountains are beyond beautiful. The staff at the ski valet and the ski rental was unmatched. And the afternoon activities in the residences lobby were quite nice, music, tastings, soaking salt giveaways.”

From even before we left for Colorado the concierge at the Ritz was magnificent and continued to be thru-out the stay. You expect top quality at the Ritz in terms of the place, location and amenities (All great! BTW) but it's the CAN DO service that makes the really big impact! I can see why many just to Ritz Carlton...Makes a ton of sense!!! I was ordering dinner reservations from the pool to give you an idea...Also you are at the end of preparing dinner in the unit and all of a sudden a few ladies appear to do the dishes! It's amazing...Anyway. Epic stay and can't wait to visit another Ritz property in the future...”

Natural Beauty

I reserved this property for a short trip to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday and play Fall golf. We invited another couple to join us. We all flew to Denver and drove the 4 hours to Aspen. Long drive but beautiful in the Fall. We took the Independence Pass road into Aspen and it was stunning. It had snowed a bit before we arrived but we had 4 days (we could only stay this long) of beautiful, sunny weather. We arrived at the Ritz and were welcomed by Steve and shown to our room. He brought up the luggage and took care of our car. Very helpful. The next morning we called for our car and Steve had washed it (it was a rental) and in putting our golf clubs back into the car, one set was left behind. We left for the course and didn’t realize it. Steve realized it and followed us to the course with the 4th set of clubs. He then left us a small gift in the room to apologize for the error and wished my husband a Happy Birthday. Steve went on vacation the next day, but everyone else we worked with was fabulous too. Polite and helpful. They have a shuttle to/from town and that makes it easy to get to dinner and not worry about parking. We played golf at Snowmass and Aspen Golf club and hiked the Maroon Bells. Can’t tell you when I’ve seen so much natural beauty. The unit was perfectly arranged for 2 couples with master suites on each side of the living space. The restaurants in the complex are great – delicious tacos for lunch, lattes in the morning and a nice dinner at Willow Creek. We didn’t have time to use the pool, spa or fitness center, but all looked beautiful. We would definitely return and rate this property 5 stars. JoAnn Nally”

Nice Property

The property is very close to the Maroon Bells Recreation Area making for easy access to the vast array of hiking trails there. They close the road to Maroon Bells during certain busy times and only allow shuttles to the area. If you want to drive there, you need to get up early, or go after 5pm. Will definitely return to the property. If you have the option for a 3 bedroom unit, take it because they have a deck. The 2 bedroom unit did not.”

This vacation was a class act, from beginning to end. From the initial contact by mail before our stay, asking if we need ride from airport, groceries purchased to stock fridge, reservations for any restaurants, to the greeting received upon arrival, we were treated extremely well. The 2 bedroom condo is comfortable, warm, luxurious, with housekeeping twice daily. The ski in-ski out, with ski valet made this such an easy vacation. The gym, with jacuzzi and spa, and staff which were so attentive is another wonderful feature. I would love to return again next year. I highly recommend this stay.”

Great week in the Aspen Highlands!

The Ritz @ Aspen Highlands was an awesome time! It is located just minutes from downtown, which was easy to visit by rental car, shuttle, or free taxi until midnight. If you have a rental car, the Maroon Bells are just up the road. If you get there before 8am, you can take your own vehicle and do what you want. When you arrive, you are greeted by several employees before you reach the elevator. The rooms were perfect, with huge bathrooms and a great shower. The pool was very relaxing at all times of the day. Get there early and it's probably all yours. The village was convenient for shopping and eating. Everything was great, but the welcoming staff was the best part!”

We loved the Ritz Club in Aspen. Like all Ritz Clubs, the property is gorgeous and the staff are so accommodating. Our 2 bedroom apartment was warm and inviting. Plenty of space for 4 people. Ski in-ski out at Aspen Highlands was perfect for us but shuttles will take you to Snowmass and other local mountains. Absolutely no need for a car. We will definitely go back.”

Beautiful Resort

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton Aspen Highlands the week of March 28. 2015. The property is beautiful and the service is 5 star all the way as you would expect from the Ritz. We had warm sunny weather and great ski conditions! We had a 2 bedroom condo that was beautifully decorated and had views that looked over the ski mountain. We were greeted at the airport, as we exited the plane, by an employee of the Ritz to help with our luggage and take us the club. All the employees are more than willing to make your stay a wonderful experience. We ate at the restaurant on site, Willow Creek, and daily visited Cafe Sienna for morning lattes. Both had excellent service and food. The only thing I regret is not getting groceries stocked prior to our arrival due to the fact that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesdays. Once we got there, we had no desire to grocery shopping. If you are going to ski Aspen Highlands, be sure to make 2:00 lunch reservations in advance at Cloud 9. They have a beautiful deck to dine on, great music and champagne flowing! It is an experience in itself. It was a Great experience and I plan on going back soon to enjoy an Aspen summer!”

My home club Ritz Carlton Aspen Highlands Disappoints

Imagine being an owner of the club you purchased for a week thru 3rd Home and then staying as a guest at that very same club and having the worst experience, from check-in to a very early departure, my stay was not the quality I am used to at this Ritz Carlton Club. So, I will add that I stay there regularly and have a nice stay but this week in July was below average in every way. Quality of room being the worst. No air conditioning after 3 visits from the engineer. ”
