The Sand Dollar residence enjoys an enviable location in Destin, Florida, in the area known as the Panhandle, on the Gulf of Mexico. The thin stretch of coastline earned its moniker as the Emerald Coast as a result of its clear, emerald-green waters and fine, white sands. In fact, the sand on Destin's beaches is some of the whitest in the world, made of finely ground quartz crystal resembling the appearance of sugar. Destin is also praised for plentiful fishing, thus its title as the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village." The beach town offers challenging golf courses, spectacular sunsets, and of course, fresh mouth-watering seafood.

The Sand Dollar is a six-bedroom, four-bathroom upscale beach house providing guests with 4000 square feet of luxury spread between the main house and a carriage house connected by a lushly landscaped courtyard with a private pool. The home has an elegant coastal aesthetic with Pottery Barn and other designer furnishings throughout. Beautiful European white oak floors add warmth and sophistication to the kitchen and main living area. The kitchen is an expansive 30' wide and has plenty of room for several cooks. It comes fully stocked with stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. The dining table seats 10 guests plus 4 at the bar and is open to the kitchen and living areas. The living room is light and airy and offers a variety of comfortable seating options and a 60" HDTV.

The main house features four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is located on the first floor overlooking the pool area with two queen beds and a cozy sitting area. Upstairs, a stately master suite awaits guests with a four-post king bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a private balcony where you can watch tangerine sunsets from one of the rocking chairs. When you need to get all dolled up, the spacious master bath offers his and hers sinks with plenty of counter space, a glass shower, and a jetted tub. The second master suite is equally as chic and welcoming as the first, also featuring a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It also features a built-in writing desk and a recently remodeled with a quartz countertop double vanity and a glass tile shower. The third room features a twin-over-full bunk and an ensuite bathroom—perfect for the kids!

The guest cottage provides a romantic retreat with two rooms accessed separately through french doors—one king and one day bed with a pull-out trundle. The space also features a full bathroom, walk-in closet, and well-equipped kitchenette.

The lushly landscaped backyard offers a serene area to relax by the heated, Grecian-style pool or sway in the breeze on the built-in hammock. The backyard provides all the amenities one could desire for a beach house, including an outdoor rainfall shower, two dining tables, reclining lounge chairs, and a gas grill. Bikes, pool floats, toys, and beach gear are included for your enjoyment.

Crystal Beach is a lower-density area with two public beach accesses just a short walk away. Take a short stroll down the beach to the Crab Trap Restaurant for a cold drink and delicious appetizers at the beach bar. Camille's restaurant is just around the corner and is a great place to get your morning coffee or evening dinner with sushi and fresh seafood. You're also within walking distance of a large playground, a bookstore, and ice cream shops. Whether you're looking to reconnect with family and friends, relax poolside, or take a bike ride on the quiet streets, this house has all the amenities to provide a memorable week at the beach!

** Two complimentary beach service setups are provided daily from March 1st through October 31st for guests. Additional Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, and wagon are still provided at the house, but guests will have a reserved section on the beach with daily chair/umbrella service.

** BIKE SERVICE: 4 beach cruiser adult bikes provided through Fun Pug Bike Rentals for your enjoyment.
