December 2021Didn't want to leave!
Our stay at Gary's two bedroom, beachfront unit was short but was enough time to recharge our batteries. It was on the 10th floor (building is only 12 floors) that had views of the entire pool area and of endless miles of the Pacific Ocean. We had coffee on the large balcony every morning to watch the sunrise. The balcony had sun all day which was nice to lay on the lounger and just read. We went whale watching at 7am one morning on a small Zodiac boat and it was the highlight of the trip. The Zodiac allowed us to see the whales up close! They are so graceful and it's fun to watch them play in the open water. You can walk to Whaler's Village that is a huge, open shopping center with plenty of great places to eat. If you don't feel like walking, simply cross the street and hop on the free trolley! One nice surprise was the unit had a washer and dryer. It's always nice to pack clean clothes going home. Gary was the perfect Host with quick replies to our emails/texts and always offering to be any assistance during our stay.”
