March 2024Gorgeous Home in Great Location!
We could not have had a more enjoyable stay at this beautifully appointed home located in the historic Belmont neighborhood of Charlottesville. Just around the corner are restaurants and amenities, and within a ten minute walk is the downtown Charlottesville Mall with options galore! The home is in such an ideal location. The property is very organized and comfortable, and we spent most of our time reading books and playing board games; though for television watchers, there is a very nice big screen with Sonos surround sound. The hosts, Elliott and Becca, are absolutely gracious and thoughtful. They even left a card, a bottle of wine, and snacks which greeted us upon arrival after a very long drive from Texas. We instantly felt at home. Thanks, Elliott and Becca! The home is new construction within a historic context, which makes it extra special. It blends right in with the older homes in the neighborhood. The internet is lightning fast and technology was never a problem. We were able to work online and not miss a beat. The home is quite large, and more space than the two of us needed—however it was nice to enjoy the hosts’ design and attention to detail throughout the property, including the well-appointed wraparound porch and backyard. As a UVA grad, this home helped us to fall back in love with the charm of the area. The neighborhood and the property were certainly fodder for our new dream to personally own a home in beautiful Charlottesville at some point in the future. Thanks so much Elliott and Becca for being superhosts. It is a pleasure to be a part of the global ThirdHome family with you.”
