wonderful House in Cusco

The house worked out perfectly for our 3 couples. It was our home base as we traveled Cusco and Machu Picchu. The house was in a great valley town about an hour from the airport. The town has everything you need from restaurants to markets. The house was clean and large enough to have our privacy when needed. Lysbeth, the manager of the house was fantastic and took great care of us. ”

Central Sacred Valley location - perfecto

We truly enjoyed our week in Urubamba. It was a perfect location to visit Pisac, Ollantaytamba and Machu Picchu. We were able to visit different location up and down he Valley. The home was very comfortable with very nice accommodations. Pleasant setting in the back yard to enjoy company and the mountain views. We enjoyed many local restaurants with some amazing culinary delights. ”

Wonderful villa in the best town of Sacred Valley

Besides the great help from Gustavo, the owner, the cleaning lady Lysbeth was very helpful. She made a great brrakfast every morning and helpen where she could. Although it is helpful to speak Spanish, a translator on your telephone works well with the Internet in the house. Urubamba is greatly located in the Sacred Valley to see all must-sees in that area. All of them are great and there are multiple nice restaurants within 10 minutes drive. After our stay we did a 2-day trip to the Machu Picchu. With hindsight, I would have done that from Urubamba and stayed another night at the villa. Be aware that the villa is located a few minutes drive on a dirt road from the main road. Walking it takes 5 minutes. I enjoyed that personally. Also, be aware that Urubamba has a great climate, which means you need to bring enough clothes for colder evenings. If I come back to Cusco area, I would love to stay again! ”

Amazing experience, beautiful house

We had the trip of a lifetime at Gustavo’s house in the Sacred Valley. It’s a perfect home base to visit Cusco, Machu Picchu and the rest of the sites in the Sacred Valley, situated in the charming mountain town of Urubamba. Gustavo is an excellent host, he basically planned our entire family vacation for us, as we followed all of his local recommendations for restaurants, activities and transportation., he was very accessible an easy to reach on WhatsApp. The house itself was beautiful, charming and comfortable with lots of nice Peruvian decor accents. The housekeeper, Desye, took great care of us and even cooked breakfast for us every day. The backyard was a peaceful and private oasis! Our trip to Peru was amazing because of our stay in this house. Highly recommend!”

Fantastic stay in the Sacred Valley

The house is simple, but extremely convenient to everything we wanted to explore. The housekeeper took really good care of us. She prepared great local dishes when we wanted to eat in, and set the fireplace on evenings we were around. Gustavo is a true superhost who will tailor the stay to your preferences. He arranged deliveries from a local market, gave us suggestions for things to do, and made reservations at local restaurants. If you want to just relax in the hammock and enjoy the beautiful gardens, Gustavo will make sure that his staff takes care of you. Gustavo’s place is a perfect base to explore Machu Picchu and surrounding areas.”

Sacred Valley Bliss

Gustavo's lovely home in Urubamba was the perfect place to explore the Sacred Valley and the Andes. The large home was comfortable and decorated throughout with art and collection pieces from the area. The backyard was enormous and I enjoyed coffee in the morning sitting on the patio as well as an afternoon siesta in the hammock. The kitchen was well outfitted and his caretaker Deyse cooked us a wonderful dinner and arranged taxis to take us into town all week. In addition, Gustavo provided useful info regarding things to see and local restaurants. I would love to return for another visit in the future. ”
