Love the hot tub on the balcony

Modern property. Restaurants ,pools and the beach only steps away. The hot tub on the high balcony was a plus. There is a resort fee though, so be mindful of that.”

Great experience at the Fives

Fantastic experience at the Fives. The staff is amazing, the hotel is boutique feeling and it is easy to get into the restaurants and to get beach chairs and so on. The food is somewhat limited but is VERY good, the drinks are top shelf and delicious. The room is fantastic and spacious with amazing views of the Caribbean . Highly recommend. ”

Bait and switched us!

Reserved this place in November 2022, 1 week before we were set to arrive they claimed our unit was not available. We were forced to accept reservations at another sister resort or change our week at last minute. Since we are all professional business owners we could not change our week at last minute therefore we accepted the transfer to the other resort. We were to be comped transportation and were given spa massages. Still have NOT received transportation reimbursement and when we checked out they tried to charge us $965 US for massages that were to be comped. Let alone every reservation we made while at this resort with our Ambassasor "Saul" was wrong. Wrong times - wrong places, wrong everything. We made the best of our stay but to say the least it was a mess and extremely unprofessional. ”

Beautiful but loud, needs some fine tuning.

The unit itself was nicely designed and laid out, but we had problems with the AC units in both bedrooms 6 out of the 7 nights because the sliding glass doors wouldn't close properly and then it would turn the "smart ac" off. They also were working on maintenance issues right outside our windows at 8am one morning, and pool maintenance and cleaning above us at 7am another morning (which woke us up). The resort is very pretty, the staff is very friendly, and the large pool is great for families. The smaller rooftop pool is also nice for adults only. The property had a "spring break vibe", with loud music playing all day/night at the beach club, and often times with competing music from pool activities or the upstairs restaurant. If you want a quieter more peaceful vaca, this is not an ideal spot. Overall, they need to tweak several things to make it more high-end, but it's clean pretty and we loved the town of Puerto Morelos. We found great restaurants in town. The hotel restaurants were decent, the Italian one only open for dinner was our favorite. ”
