Perfect Stay in Palm Springs

We wanted to "test drive" a mid century home in Palm Springs to see if we wanted to rent/own a property for future use. We could not have chosen a more perfect home. When entering, I was amazed to see a home so pristine! I don't think I have every been in a home this clean and well maintained, both. inside and out. Manicured lawn, pool, outdoor furniture. Beautiful, perfectly furnished with period but comfortable furniture. Great beds, baths. Kitchen supplied for cooking anything and in quantity. Host Jamie, completely responsive. Trying to book for next year!”

The Perfect Escape!

The Monroe Hideaway is a perfect retreat. We booked the week to work and recharge. It's well appointed, very spacious and in particular, the rooms are spread out for privacy. While the inside of the house is lovely, it is the yard that steals the show. The citrus was incredible - like a still life painting and so nutritious and delicious. The pool, outdoor areas and private patios allow a group or couples or friends to have some quiet times enjoying the sunshine. Lastly - it's very close to many great dining and shopping options. I would stay there again whenever it's available.”

What a Palm Springs Gem! In true retro style, the entirety of The Monroe Hideaway is reminiscent of Palm Springs heyday but with all the current touches and conveniences! The splashes of color, mid-century design and whimsical artwork transport the guest to days by gone. If the interior design wasn't show-stopping, the piece de resistance has to be the exterior areas. The mature landscaping provides for ambiance and utmost of privacy, and the pop of yellow in the backyard decor is a huge "Wow!" When we weren't browsing the endless vintage and antique stores, riding the tram up to nearly 10K feet for a Palm Springs panorama, and dining at the Springs/Desert's world-class restaurants, we spent a lot of time outside next to the pool, hot tub and fire-pit overlooking the golf course. Though the owner was out of the country during our entire stay, he was quick to answer a few questions and provide recommendations for an enhanced stay. We LOVED Marilyn Hideaway and hope for another opportunity to return! ”

Beautiful home in perfect location

Stayed here for Girls trip. The house was very cute and perfect for our group. The backyard was wonderful. There was plenty of shade and there was lots of space to hang out and enjoy the pool. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the host was responsive when we reached out. We would love to stay here again someday.”
