June 2024Charming home in an idyllic setting
The North Hatley home is wonderfully decorated and comfortable, with all the perks one would want for cozy stay in a beautiful lakeside community. We enjoyed the thoughtful and very functional set up for relaxation and renewal. The screened outdoor room is amazing and wonderful for meals and informal gatherings. North Hatley is an historic place in so many ways, but it is also calming, restoring and full of opportunities for outdoor activities and sports. Our hosts were always responsive and kind. We also enjoyed visits to cheese makers, vineyards, towns with fun shops, and the stunning countryside. We highly recommend the North Hatley Historic Retreat!”

May 2024A refined lakeside retreat
We spent two glorious weeks in this house. It was comfortable in so many ways; spacious, clean, well appointed, private, quiet, quaint. Our favorite spot was a very large screened rear porch that was like an oversized outdoor family room. The historic town of North Hatley was safe, friendly and filled with shopping treasures, small beaches and restaurants. The refined lakeside atmosphere infused the entire experience making it one of our favorite vacations. ”

August 2023A beautiful, largely undiscovered part of the world.
This is a charming, well restored home in an equally charming lakefront Quebec village. No more than 30 minutes drive to every other place you'd want to visit: city museums; outstanding restaurants; sleepy villages; farmers' markets; boating; wineries, bakeries and cheese makers galore. We drove 6 hours from Toronto and our children drove 6 hours from Connecticut. What a fantastic meeting place! You won't be disappointed!”
