The property owners went over and above with their hospitality. They sat down with us for over an hour upon check in to go over the map of the island of Crete. We were able to visit all the "musts" on our list. This island is breathtaking and the water on the south end is more clear than the Bahamas. The house was perfect with the 2 levels and 2 kitchens. We were able to take the entire top level and our guests stayed in the lower level. The highlight of our trip is when were invited, by the owners as their guests, to the mountain village where Dimitri grew up for an authentic dinner! We will fondly remember our week in crete and cherish the gifts of olive oil that the owners provided- Maggie and Kenny ”
