The Lakes by Yoo is set in the heart of the Cotswolds, surrounded by six clear water lakes within 650 acres of nature and established woodland. The Cotswolds is famous for its beautiful quintessentially English villages, charming local pubs, antique fairs, farmers' markets, and village fetes. Established by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox, they set out to create a world-class design and development business that could focus on the singular visions of the world’s leading designers.

The lakes have several facilities for you to enjoy such as tennis and cricket courts, a golf net, a man-made beach, and much more. The scenic lakes provide an opportunity for fishing, boating, and beautiful woodland walks.

There is an on site spa with communal heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym and pool table available to you. You can also book gym classes and treatments (extra expense).

There is also a gorgeous new onsite restaurant, The Lakes Bar & Kitchen, situated on the the edge of Bowmoor Sailing Lake (5mins walk) for coffee, brunch, lunch, supper on weekends and some midweek days, with views over the sailing lake.

The house has 3 SUP boards and 2 kayaks available to use between April and September.

Mallard Lodge

We were a group of 8 friends and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was fully equipped and had everything we needed. It is set in a development like nothing else we have seen in the UK. a quiet and relaxing week. Although it was not a problem for us it was necessary to climb at least one or two flights of stairs to the bedrooms which could pose a problem for physically handicapped people. Some of our group used the tennis courts, pool and sauna and raved about the facilities. The host was quite helpful, even adjusting their schedule to fit our requirements and were always available to answer any questions we had about the property.”

Doesn't get any better than perfect , Stunning home on the edge of a lake . Incredible in every way . Including our hosts who were so helpful and thoughtful . An age range from 70 to 14 and everyone had the most memorable holiday in this magnificent home on the edge of the water . Mallard lodge is a wonderfully comfortable, stylish and perfectly equipped lake side home on a peaceful woodland property close to all of the beauty of the Cotswolds. Days spent waking up to the sounds of the wildlife, paddle boarding, canoeing or swimming on the glassy water or heading to the spa, gym, pool or the tennis courts then taking off into the stunning countryside and returning back to comfort for family dinners and relaxing in style made for a wonderfully family holiday.
