February 2025Exceptional stay
What a wonderful holiday vacation. Fiona made us feel completely welcomed with fantastic communication and ease of instructions. Upon our arrival we were welcomed with an abundance of delicious fruit including nectarines, figs, lemons, tomatoes and pears and a beautiful bottle of wine. The Croft was impeccably clean with all the modern appliances we could want and homely additions. Highly recommend this holiday retreat. ”

January 2025Excellent stay and amazing hosts
We had a wonderful week at The Croft in Bowral. Not only is it a lovely property in a beautiful part of Australia, but Fiona the host could not have been more helpful or welcoming ahead of and during our stay. There was not a single thing she hadn't thought of to make the stay easier and nicer. Whether it was providing a very comprehensive guidebook to the property and clear communications in the lead-up to the trip, to stocking the fridge and pantry with delicious food and drink, and providing a range of baby equipment (some bought specially!!) for our infant daughter - Fiona was the ultimate host. It made everything so easy - exactly what you want on holiday. The house itself is very well equipped and has everything you need to have a great stay, from board games to books, a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms, easy to use air-con/heating, and lots of well-designed areas to relax, eat, and hang out. The spacious gardens are also lovely, with several nice areas to sit and eat. More broadly, whether you're coming from Sydney like us, or from further afield, Bowral and the Southern Highlands are a beautiful part of the world for a trip. We enjoyed shopping in the town itself - the antiques and homewares are particularly good. There's also lots of great food and drink options too - we had a great meal at the creperie in town, as well as visits to several wineries (our favourite was Artemis). We also enjoyed a high-tea at Centennial Vineyards, and we'd also recommend a trip to the historic town of Berrima (including one of Australia's oldest pubs!), and to the impressive Fitzroy Falls a short drive away. All in all - a fantastic trip. Thank you! We'll be back 😊”

January 2024Charming holiday home
Thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Quiet location but close for a quick drive to local shops, restaurants and supermarket. Great for bush walks and hiking. Easy drive to local Waterfalls too. The cottage was spacious and comfortable with a really welcoming atmosphere. Bowral is a very picturesque area of NSW to visit. ”
