Though destinations like Tulum are brimming with delectable restaurants, nothing beats the luxury of having a private chef at your beck and call. At Top Rentals Mexico, we take food seriously. We offer memorable dining experiences that are bound to please the most discerning palates through our exclusive Chef Service.

Is the Chef Service Included?
The Private Chef Service fee is not included in the rates for this villa. The price for this service is $300 pesos per person per meal plus the price of the dish ordered. This charge can be waived if the meal bill for all guests is more than $2000 pesos, which happens most of the time in large groups.

How does it work?
Our Private Chef Service Staff will contact you before your arrival to coordinate all your orders in advance. In addition, our Luxury Concierge Staff can help you with this service a few days before your check-in or during your stay.

What is on the TRM Menu?
We offer a variety of dishes according to each taste. You can find salads or soups as appetizers to all types of vegan dishes, risottos, streaks, fresh fish, and seafood. Strongly recommended: The Mexican party (Tacos tasting). The prices depend on the dishes you order and the number of people and the number of plates and drinks you request. Just like a Restaurant.

Drinks: 6-9 USD
Breakfast dishes per plate: 6-15 USD
Lunch & Dining Menu per plate from 12-40 USD
Special Dining plates have a higher rate.

What to Expect?
While dining in the privacy of your villa can be the ultimate luxury, it’s important to remember that a TRM luxury villa is not a restaurant. TRM recommends that meals are enjoyed in a family or group style rather than everyone ordering individually from TRM Menu. Meals will also require prior notice to give TRM staff sufficient time to prepare and shop for fresh ingredients at local organic markets. TRM recommends that guests order their meals at least one day in advance.

Security deposit
To guarantee the Private Chef service and Pre-Stock of Ingredients, it will be
necessary to pay a security deposit of 300 USD in cash upon arrival. This will be returned to you at check-out. In this way, the TRM staff will be in charge of obtaining the freshest ingredients from the local organic markets according to the meals ordered.

*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TULUM ***

This villa is located in a unique ecological area where we try to be as respectful as we can of nature. We would highly appreciate it if you do not litter in the surrounding areas; respect animals in their natural habitat; turn off lights, minimize air conditioning, and do not leave it on when you are out. If you have to use the air conditioner, please set it at a similar temperature to the environmental temperature. The lower the setting, the higher the energy the conditioner uses. We depend on the environment for survival, and so does the environment rely on us for survival. We appreciate your collaboration with these simple steps that go a long way to conserve the environment.

Tulum is a magical place where you can explore the Mayan ruins, immerse in the jungle, enjoy sacred cenotes & swim in the beautiful Caribbean sea.

Our beautiful town is currently going through a significant change, and it is in constant real state growth. Please review the following information as it might give you a better idea of daily-basis life in this lovely place.

►CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
• Due to the constant growth previously mentioned, there might be construction nearby by the time you arrive
• The working times are usually from 9 am to 5 pm but sometimes can be extended from 8 am to 6 pm from Monday to Saturday.
• Depending on the construction development stage, there might be loud and annoying noise.
• Unfortunately, these situations are out of our hands, and there is nothing we can do about it
• We will try to help as much as we can to make your stay as memorable as possible, but some situations are just out of our control

►FAUNA
Tulum is the house of many species of animals. Such as the green & loggerhead turtle (an endangered specie), crocodiles, stingrays, lots of tropical fishes, jungle mice, opossums, coatis, jaguars, jaguarundis, anteater, tarantulas (not dangerous), and more. This area of México also houses a variety of insects such as spiders, praying mantis, butterflies, and more.

Most of our villas are surrounded by jungle areas, and due to all the change & construction, these lovely animals are trying to find a new home or are just passing by. If you are lucky enough to be in the presence of any of these animals mentioned above, please do not kill them, let us know so we can take them back safely to their environment (note: no jaguars can be found near Tulum anymore)

►BASIC SERVICES
Tulum is still a small town, the infrastructure of basic services such as electricity, water, internet, phone, etc, was never made for such high demand (fortunately, our government is working on it)

These services might be disrupted from time to time for different reasons, it could be due to weather (if it's too windy, if it rains, or even if the service company disconnects the service in order to do some maintenance) All of this is totally out our hands but we will do our best to help in case this happens during your stay

►HURRICANES
Quintana Roo is located in an area of the world where hurricanes can affect us. We recommend getting Travel Insurance with full coverage in case your stays need to be canceled for this reason or any other situation related to this matter
