The Mango Grove

The Mango Grove is a family beach house in 2 1/2 hectares of grounds on a hill overlooking the Calatagan lighthouse with an infinity swimming pool and superb sea views. The property has an extensive mango orchard and is secluded yet only a ten-minute walk to the beach. There are great biking trails around the vicinity. CaSoBe has a water park, restaurants and a swimming/kiteboarding beach and is 5 minutes away. Calatagan Golf Course and Lago de Oro (wakeboard park) are under 25 minutes away.

The municipality of Calatagan occupies an entire peninsula that juts out into the Verde Island Passage, which is at the centre of the ecologically important Coral Triangle and described by a 2007 Smithsonian Institute study as the "centre of the centre" of the world's marine biodiversity. The passage and the surrounding islands are notable for their high concentration of marine species. In Calatagan, you can see it without going far. Hiding in its shallow waters are sea stars, crabs and fishes. Its reefs nurture many marine lifeforms, from corals to turtles to sharks, all playing a vital role in the environment.

The house can accommodate up to 20 guests and is divided between the Main house and Guest house.

The Main house has two ensuite bedrooms (one with two twin beds (2 sleeps) and one with queen sized bed (2 sleeps)), a TV room/library, lounge, dining room, kitchen and Lanai (upper and lower) with an adjacent infinity swimming pool with a bar area with Pool Table, Table Tennis Table, Charcoal Oven and BBQ.

PLEASE NOTE: The upper floor of the main house is not accessible to guests.

The Guest House has four ensuite bedrooms with king-size beds (8 sleeps), plus 2 single trundle beds in each (8 sleeps) which can be pulled out, and a balcony with sea views.
