Loved Clareville & loved this house

The house was located in Clareville, a beautiful spot about 1 hr drive from sydney. It’s in the Pittwater side, great little harbour beach, 100m walk from the house. House was very well appointed, luxury and homely at the same time. Great kitchen, fully stocked pantry, sharp knives, all the appliances you need, balcony with views, beautiful bedrooms, big and very private courtyard. James sent list of recommendations which were very useful. Great communication and very lovely to deal with. We loved our week long staycation. Spent time hanging out on the beach which was very calm and not crowded even on weekends, plenty of shady spots under the trees, sunset beach picnics. Explored Avalon, vibrant coastal village, 40 mins walk which was good exercise or 5 min drive, there’s also a bus stop in front of the house that takes you to Avalon. Nice cafes and restaurants, good shopping and an amazing day spa called Chakana (highly recommended). Palm beach is 20 mins drive away, walked up to the lighthouse for amazing views - good exercise rewarded by breakfast at the Boat House. Also nice long stretch of surf beach. It was our first third home stay and it was a great experience. ”

Clareville Beach House

Clareville is an hours drive north of Sydney close to Avalon where there are great shops including an outstanding seafood shop and La Banette bakery.From the house it is a short walk to the beach on Pittwater and pleasant beachside walk. 20 minutes away is Palm Beach where a strenuous walk to the lighthouse is rewarded with spectacular views. The timber house is well appointed with a nice view and pleasant garden. Thankyou Sophie and James for making us feel welcome for a most enjoyable stay. Anne”
