December 2024Lovely Lakeside Home
This is a very lovely home right on the lake north of Kelowna. We traveled with another family and the layout was perfect for it, giving us all ample space to spread out across two floors with plenty of bedrooms and the extra living room downstairs for the kids. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals in the home. The surrounding area is really beautiful...we found some great hikes and we enjoyed tastings at nearby wineries. Lake Country has some great restaurants about 15 mins away and Kelowna is about a half hour drive. For skiing, you're right between Big White and Silverstar...each about an hour by car. They are excellent mountains with a very locals feel. We really enjoyed the ease and laid-back feel compared to the crowds and hustle of Colorado. The hosts were very gracious and the communication was excellent. We look forward to staying here again someday! ”
