August 2024Exceptional property, perfectly located!
Wow, just wow! This property was everything as advertised, and possibly even better. The home is spectacular, spacious, and high-end in every detail. The architecture and decor were gorgeous. The kitchen and pantry were to die for. Its most stunning feature might possibly be the conservatory and yard — truly breathtaking. I can only second every word in the comprehensive review by Kim and Ben. Sophie, the caretaker, was extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and responsive to any question. The location is perfect, as Brandon described. It is tucked in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, but close to everything you need and want to do. We, too, would like to return whenever possible!”

August 2024A Perfect Stay in a Stunning Edinburgh Home
Our recent stay in Edinburgh was nothing short of magical, thanks in large part to the stunningly beautiful home that was quite the sanctuary after a long day of catching shows at the Fringe Festival. Nestled in a charming and historic neighborhood, this house was an absolute gem, blending traditional Scottish architecture with modern luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were taken aback by the home's elegance, a perfect representation of Edinburgh's rich history. It was warm, inviting, and sophisticated in every detail. The décor was a tasteful mix of classic and contemporary, with high ceilings, original tile and lovely hardwood floors, and large windows that flooded the rooms with natural light, especially the sunroom, which overlooked a well-tended and clearly loved back garden. The amenities available were nothing short of spectacular. The kitchen was a chef’s dream, fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, a vast array of cookware, and even a well-stocked pantry. Cooking meals here felt like a luxury experience, and dining at the large, elegantly set table made every meal feel like a special occasion. What truly set this home apart, however, was the attention to detail. Every amenity one could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. Each bedroom was a haven of comfort, with plush bedding, plump pillows, and soft towels. The main bathroom soaking tub added an extra layer of indulgence. The home offered multiple cozy sitting areas for relaxation, each with its own charm. Whether curling up with a book in the library, sipping wine in the sunroom, or enjoying local news on the tele in the front room, there was always a perfect spot to unwind. The outdoor space was another highlight. The private garden was beautifully landscaped, offering a serene escape with comfortable seating areas and a pingpong table to boot. It was the perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee or end the day with a glass of wine. Location-wise, the home couldn’t have been better situated. It was close enough to the city center to make walking to various places a breeze, yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. In conclusion, this home in Edinburgh was an absolute dream. It offered the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience, making our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional place to stay in this beautiful city. It’s a home we would like to return to again and again. ”
