Beautiful apartment, great location, excellent host

We can’t say enough about this spacious apartment located a stone’s throw away from the lake in the heart of Salo. It is beautifully appointed and included everything we could possibly need for our stay. Alessandro was a superb host. He provided excellent suggestions for restaurants and things to do, and quickly help us resolve a parking problem we experienced at a local garage. We loved Salo, and the apartment and our host played a large part in our experience. ”

Fabulous week on Lake Garda

We just returned from a fabulous week in northern Italy. We stayed primarily in Salo', which proved a great base camp for various day trips around Lake Garda, which for us included Limone sul Garda and Verona, with our final two nights in Venice. Alessandro was a terrific host - he met us when we arrived in Salo', helped us carry in our luggage, and gave us a parking pass for the garage (we drove from Venice). The apartment is right in the historic center of town with a gorgeous view of the lake and plaza below (and a famous 15th century cathedral - the Duomo di Salo' - an easy walk down the street). We had everything we needed in Domus Coeli, and Alessandro gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. In fact, he was responsive every time we had a question about Salo' or other towns. We really enjoyed out days in Salo' and the region and would love to return one day. ”
