Description

Casa Parota

Nestled in the heart of Mexico, San Miguel de Allende is a captivating city known for its vibrant culture, rich history, and architectural beauty. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it enchants visitors with colorful colonial buildings, cobblestone streets, and a bohemian atmosphere. The city is famous for its lively festivals, thriving arts scene, and delectable cuisine, seamlessly blending traditional Mexican charm with international flair.

At the city's heart is El Jardin, a bustling square where locals and visitors gather, framed by the stunning Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, a neo-Gothic church and one of Mexico's most photographed landmarks. With a welcoming community and mild climate, San Miguel de Allende offers an ideal escape for those seeking inspiration, relaxation, and authentic Mexican hospitality.

In this enchanting setting lies Casa Parota, an elegant 2-bedroom residence that captures the essence of San Miguel's warmth and allure. Located in the heart of Centro, just two blocks from El Jardin, this 3,800-square-foot home was formerly a commercial space and has been recently renovated to provide a contemporary, comfortable, and convenient retreat.

Upon entry, guests are welcomed into a gracious hall leading to a large living room and separate dining room, each with ample seating. The spacious kitchen is equipped with professional-grade appliances, and the main floor includes a powder room, a soaring staircase, and a three-story atrium with a waterfall. The decor blends native stone and stucco with warm woods, natural fabrics, and soft lighting, accented by vibrant artworks and architectural elements from local artists and artisans.

At the rear is the first of two expansive master suites, offering a peaceful retreat. Each suite opens onto the light-filled atrium adorned with plants and features a king bed, gas fireplace, custom cabinetry with generous storage, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom.

The next level hosts the second master suite and a studio fitted with a smart TV, wet bar, wine refrigerator, and Nespresso machine, conveniently located next to a full bath.

Casa Parota offers abundant outdoor spaces, including a private al fresco living room with a gas fireplace and dining area on the second floor. The rooftop extends additional living space with a custom Jacuzzi hot/cool tub, sun chaises, and a seating area perfect for sunset cocktails—all offering breathtaking panoramic views of San Miguel.
