great location

The location was excellent — close to shops, restaurants, and walking distance from train and bus station. The host is very nice she meets you in person and goes over the rules and instructions of the property. . The owner had installed a small air conditioning unit in the living room, but it wasn’t powerful enough to cool the entire apartment. In order to keep the bedrooms somewhat comfortable, we had to leave all the doors open to the bedrooms and close the door to the kitchen so we can keep the cool in the living room. The living room has only two chairs so no place to lie down to cool off. I don't recommend choosing this unit in the summer time. The building is quite old and does not have an elevator, which may be important for some travelers to know in advance. The apartment came with only one fan, and the bedding was typical of older European accommodations — firm mattresses and very minimal comfort. Not like what we tend to require in United States. There is a washing machine, but it’s not very practical for use; a single load takes nearly half a day to wash and there’s no dryer, which makes laundry a hassle. Overall, while the apartment was semi-comfortable and the location was a definite plus, it doesn’t meet the standard we’ve come to expect from ThirdHome properties. ”

Lovely Stay in Rome

Tiziania was a delight to work with. She was quick to answer all of our questions and was very accomodating. The condo had old-world charm, suited our needs and the location was perfect for us. It is located just outside of city center. This area is much quieter and less expensive than downtown. We would have given the property 5 stars if it had air-conditioning. Even with the provided fans, it did get a bit warm at times (it was summer and the temps were in the 90's).”
