Absolutely Amazing!

We had a wonderful time. The house is absolutely amazing! It’s beautiful and decorated so well, plus has everything you could need during your stay. The views are stunning and you can enjoy the pool or the beach with the ocean right there. We saw wild horses every day but one. The drive on the beach was a little scary the first time but then once you knew what to expect it was no-problem. Great place to relax and recharge. Home on the range

My wife and I had a magnificent, memorable visit to the Outer Banks and the stay at Amy and Rick's oceanfront home could not have been a better spot to "put our feet up" and explore a special area of the world. The house is extremely comfortable, offering great vistas from which to view the dunes, the ocean and the wild horses when they ambled our way. The decor of the house was cheery, colorful and really relaxing. Rick and Molly communicated beautifully with us in advance and provided some instruction when we found ourselves confused by the television system. It was really quite simple and they had left detailed directions, and were patient in helping some technologically challenged people find their way. The kitchen is furnished with everything a visitor would need, and the layout would easily accommodate a large group with several very nicely appointed bedrooms on the second floor to complement a spacious master suite on the top level. The pool is large and clean, and it offers a perfect way to soak in sun and dip during a warm stretch when one is seeking privacy. We came in our 4-wheel drive Ford F150 truck, and we were pleased that it was our vehicle of choice. We found the seven mile stretch of sand to the house a bit intimidating at first, but we gained confidence over time and felt that the Lawrence of Arabia type trek only added to the adventure of the stay. Special thanks to Molly and Rick, terrific hosts in every respect. We felt their support from our first correspondence, through the welcome treats they left for us upon our arrival, until our departure. They were clearly on board to make our getaway special, and it worked. We will treasure our week at their home and are eager to return in the future, either as a twosome or with our extended family. TRANQILITY among the WILD HORSES

Our 2 week stay was lovely. Every amenity you can imagine was found in this 2 story home. The only thing we never quite got used to was the odor (rotten eggs) from the well water in the toilet, faucet, or shower head, which is not drinkable. Water pressure was also a bit of a challenge. The owners were terrific. We saw wild horses every day. Do not attempt to drive to this home without a four wheel drive vehicle.. 7 miles on the beach is a little tricky depending on the tide. Top Notch Property in the Outer Banks

We had a lovely time at Molly and Rick's beautiful property in Corolla, NC (north of Duck). The house is practically brand new and very well-appointed and stocked (top of the line appliances, TVs, furniture, etc.) . The homeowners were extremely hospitable and offered some great restaurant suggestions. As advertised, the highlight of the trip is the abundance of wildlife - we saw wild horses every day and sometimes twice a day - it's an amazing experience! We also saw dolphins close to the shore. The house has a great pool with an outdoor bathroom with shower. Please keep in mind you really need a 4x4 vehicle to access the property, but it's well worth the effort! Another first class 3rd home property....”
