November 2025NOT YOUR TYPICAL VACATION EXCHANGE
This is not your typical ThirdHome property...you experience island life as it exists! We arrived, unfortunately, after dark which was a bit stressful. We rented a car at STX (you NEED a car to explore the island) and did the 18 minute drive to Villa Concordia. The entrance road is 1.6 miles up a steep hill with MANY sharp turns and no lights. We got to the villa went in to a very large kitchen, family room and dining area and noticed the beautiful windows and sliders to the exterior wrap around patio and pool area.. We looked around and and did not see ANY bedrooms or bathrooms? Upon further investigation we saw that the bedrooms and bathrooms were out the back slider where the pool is. Both bedrooms had push button locks so they actually looked like hotel rooms.. We thought that was really strange but come to find out that a lot of the homes on St Croix have that configuration. Once we got over that slight shock we slipped right into relaxation mode and lived like the islanders. The owners couldn't have been more helpful with places to go, where to eat, local talent to see, etc. Matt sent pins to our phone with directions. We were in constant contact with Matt sharing pictures of our adventures. We actually got used to the winding road with the goats on them, however never stayed out too late. Didn't want to drink too much then tackle the turns...LOL. We went all over the island from Christiansted to Frederiksted seeing beer drinking pigs, local talent, Cruzan rum distillery, (don't miss the small but quaint Sion Farm Mutiny Vodka TASTING ROOM for HH next to Shupes,...not the distillery) beaches and more. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful pool and on the outdoor patios looking the views. The locals couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. If you are looking for the typical property with everything at your fingertips...this won't be for you but if you're adventuresome you might just fall in love. I give Matt 10 stars for his island advice!!! ”

November 2025AMAZING VIEWS
The wrap around deck and the view of the ocean was nothing short of amazing. The owner was outstanding with communication and providing helpful information. I was originally not aware that there was a separate apartment below the house but it did not affect us as no one was staying there at the time. The exterior of the house could use some cleaning and maintenance but maybe that was because there was some construction going on at the house. We stayed during an off season and the weather was perfect and it was nice that it was not crowded at all but due to the lack of people several of the establishments were closed or limited hours.”
