Big Canoe

House and amenities were great. No significant cell service in area if you have T-mobile but internet fine in house. Did not expect all the extra charges for community, 10 per person for pool for day, 20 for pool and beach per person per day, fees for tennis court use, fees for gym use 20 /person per day. It adds up when you have 10 family members with you. Great places to hike and see waterfalls within 40 miles of area. Kids liked tubing at the nearby Amicalola River. ”

Great House, Highly Recommend

Our family had a fantastic time at Big Canoe. The home is located in an excellent location, is fully stocked, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The community has tons to offer, boating on the lake, swimming, fishing, golf, and great hiking. Everyone we met was very friendly and it was a fantastic week. Adam, the homeowner, was very nice and gave us great information to ensure we had a good time. We will certainly be back to Big Canoe.”

Pretty & peaceful

The quiet of this area was just what we needed. The home was beautiful and clean. We cooked a bit more than expected because of the distance to restaurants, but the kitchen is well equipped. The lodge is not too far with nice views. Get groceries on your way in and then relax!”

We had a lovely stay in Big Canoe. The house was beautiful, very nicely decorated and had everything you needed. Our kids loved all the activities at Big Canoe, water sports, fishing, the rock slide! (the adults liked that too), hiking and the beautiful golf course. It was a wonderful, relaxing week and Adam was very helpful when we had any questions at all. Fantastic Home, Resort, and area

The home was just great and could not have been better. The owners have furnished and decorated this home so well it could be in the pages of a magazine. The resort was just awesome! Our family vacation at Big Canoe

We spent a week in this beautiful, spacious home and had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Our days were spent biking, swimming, rock sliding, golfing, playing baseball, and hiking. Evenings were spent grilling at the house, relaxing in the sun room and playing board games. A soak in the hot tub was also a welcomed treat! Everyone had a great time and I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to vacation at Big Canoe!”
