June 2024Memorable family vacation
We recently stayed in at Anastasia Villa in Noordhoek, near Cape Town, and had an incredible experience. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated, with extremely comfortable beds. The house concierge, Sian, was wonderfully helpful and quick to answer all our questions. She provided great tips and was a fantastic host. The view from the house is breathtaking; you can even see the lighthouse at night. There is also private access to the beach, which added to the charm of our stay. Just a five-minute walk from the house, there's a charming shopping area with a café and Limoncello, one of our favorite restaurants. A car is essential for exploring, with Cape Town a 45-minute drive away or just 25 minutes via Chapman's Peak. The drive is safe and very pleasant, we drove it almost everyday even at night coming back from dinner in Cape Down and it was lovely. Additionally, Boulders Beach, where you can see the penguins, is less than 20 minutes away. Our stay was in June, and though it was getting a bit cooler, the fireplace kept the house nice and warm. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. Our daughters, aged eight and ten, loved the space. We highly recommend this home, especially for families with kids. We had a memorable time and thank the family for allowing us to make lifelong memories. We would love to come back in the near future!”

March 2018Great Views.
The views from the property are very much as depicted in the photos - beautiful beach views - and the beach is easily accessible from the home. The location of the property is a bit out of the way - a rental car would definitely be an asset, but we relied on private drivers. The living space is large, and there are some lovely, unique pieces of furniture. There is a great little resort located just above the property, and a 3-minute walk accessible via a path through the back of the property. Monkey Valley Resort has a very nice breakfast menu at very reasonable prices. Their dinner menu looked nice, as well, but we did not dine there. All in all, a nice property very suitable for couples or for a family. ”
