AMAZING BEACH FRONT ESTATE WITH FANTASTIC VIEWS

We absolutely loved this house! This beautiful, modern zen-like beachfront property faces the breathtaking golden sandy beach with glistening turquoise water, in Whale Beach. The three levels of this home all face the ocean, and the large decks with expansive 180 degree unobstructed ocean views, make it easy to relax, listening to the sound of the waves. We even saw some whales from our deck. One can see the ocean from most every room and angle in the home. The three floors are conveniently connected through a brand-new elevator. The top floor has a state-of-the-art kitchen with top quality appliances, beautiful dinnerware and high-quality cookware, a real Italian espresso machine, and lots of amenities. Ian was very kind in leaving us a wonderful bottle of wine, fruit, a fresh sourdough bread, juices, and much more, so we didn't have to rush to a supermarket after getting off of our 20-hour plane ride. The kitchen is connected to a large dining room and a spacious living room with a giant fireplace. There's also a beautiful and private pool (solar heated) on this floor, which is surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping. We enjoyed the tasteful furnishings and art pieces throughout the home. The spacious bedrooms are private on the second floor, and the bed was very comfy. The first floor has a workout/game room as well as access to the spacious 2-car garage. The house is very high-tech and is easily managed via the many wall panels and an iPad. There's a nearby walkway that with exactly 90 steps leading down to the beautiful bay of Whale beach. We went down there and had a delicious breakfast overlooking the ocean at the beach café. The home is close to various towns with wonderful restaurants (we enjoyed The Barrenjoey House, Alma and the Bistro Boulevard), and many other sights to visit. We've stayed in many great places on third home, and this house is definitely one we can highly recommend and would likely visit again (if Ian would have us back :-) ”

This was a trip of a lifetime! The host was extremely helpful and welcomed us with fruit and goody basket and starter fridge items. The home is an architectural masterpiece! From the ocean view/sounds to the 25’ kitchen island to state of art appliances, automated lighting and blinds, to the secluded pool, great beds/bedding, heated towels, commercial elevator, ultra filtered water and sparkling water, and the list goes on!! Easy trips by ferry to explore Sydney. Everything was perfectly beautiful!”

Luxury at the Beach

Amanwali is a stunning house. It has been designed and built with incredible attention to detail and furnished with great taste. The view of Whale Beach and the ocean is panoramic and it is located in one of Sydney's most sought-after suburbs. Ian the owner welcomed us himself and gave us a tour of the house to explain its many attractions and to answer any questions we had. He checked the next morning to confirm that everything was as it should be. Our stay was punctuated by a spectacularly intense electrical storm followed by rainfall of biblical intensity. Amanwali remained the highlight of our week. I would give it six stars if I could. ”

Exceptional home and an architectural masterpiece.

Stayed October 2018. Family of 5. From the very moment of arrival we knew we had found one of those Thirdhome gems that go in the category of standouts. Ian the owner was there to meet us and what a most gracious and humble host. It took some coaxing to discover that he also designed this home and what an incredible piece of architecture it is. Four levels - access / garage at the base, games room on the first, bedrooms on the 2nd and the top floor an incredible open plan combination of kichen / living / dining with stunning panoramic view of the ocean out front. Private balconies front and back along with a pool are seamlessly integarted ensuring this was going to be a most memorable Thirdhome vacation ! We saw migrating whales making their way south ! We loved the Whale Beach Deli 100 yards down the road and Boat House in Palm Beach. We also took a couple trips into Sydney by parking in Manly and taking the ferry. (Manly is about a 30-40 minutes drive). Pizzas from Cranzgots were exceptional 5 mimutes away and fine dining at Jonah’s out of this world - (need to book well in advance prior to your arrival). We didn’t have the greatest weather during our week, but we had no complaint about that as we just loved staying in and lazing around the house with kids largely swimming in the pool (which is heated), reading and playing table tennis. We also managed some time on the beach just a 5 minute stroll from the house between the showers. A car is required to get around, and some nice boutique shops / supermarket etc 5 minutes down the road in Avalon. All in all our family gave this home a 5*++ for host / relaxation / facilities / comfort / cleanliness and design. Thanks Ian - Alistair Tod & family. ”
