Remarkable time!

We had a remarkable time. The staff were so friendly and took care of our every need. The food and drinks made every day and adventure. We also had some wonderful meals in our house. Each morning we would awake to freshly brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast broth to our house. We could have asked for nothing more! ”

The staff at Papaya Playa Project, especially Miguel, were so extremely helpful in assisting us with dinner reservations, bike rentals, and any other want/need we had throughout the trip. Tulum itself is a very special place. The property at Papaya Playa made our stay absolutely memorable. The house and adjoining casitas are very well done and really capture the spirit of Tulum while not sacrificing any amenities that one would expect or need. The staff was top notch. Sara, Memes, and Alejandro were always available for any questions or needs that my family had. They made our stay very comfortable and made us feel at home. The owner Emilio was very kind in allowing us to adjust our time frame due to our shorter stay and delivered all that was promised and more. This is truly a gem to the already impressive 3rd home portfolio and I'm watching this property so that when it becomes available I hope to beat you to it. Tulum is the place to be now, I have traveled around the Caribbean and there is no place like Tulum, best restaurants around, great crowd and this property is just beautiful. Don't expect to cook here, the kitchen is pretty open and the wind won't allow you to cook properly. Everything else is just perfect.”

Location, Location, Location

Beautiful house with eclectic style and amazing design, anchored in Papaya playa Proyect, in middle of magical and mystic Tulum, Unique and wonderful place with an incredible ocean view. The staff was very professional and helpful, always ready to assist you. Kitchen is not equipped for cooking, consider dining at the restaurant every night. Restaurant has simple, delicate, and tasty food with fair prices. With nice atmosphere Internet doesn’t work properly, take advantage of it and log out. Papaya Playa Proyect is an amazing place growing up becoming a new form of luxury. When less is more..... Thanks for share with us. The home is beautiful and has a great vibe. You can't beat the location and the views, priceless! The kitchen is not fully equipped to cook, so don't plan on making many meals. It took over an hour to cook bacon and eggs. Other than that, it's perfect! I would go back in a heartbeat as well as recommend it to anyone. It's amazing there and the staff is available and at your service.”

Architecturally beautiful and vibrant!

There's not much to say except….you must try it! Picture an architecturally beautiful treehouse with the sound of the ocean in the background, stunning sunrises on the water, cool breezes, antique chairs upholstered in vibrant colors, a master that is reminiscent of "Out of Africa," crisp cotton bedding, yummy cotton towels and not a soul sharing "your" beach or crystal clear ocean! From the "Bigbag" chairs around the pool and the swinging bed on the beach to the very accomodating service staff, we found ourselves basking in comfort and not wanting to leave. Outside the truly unique and wonderful surroundings of the house, we enjoyed the quiet side of Tulum on the water and even ventured into the "city" a few times. We visited the ruins close by and spent an afternoon snorkeling. Sara and Antoinette were there at our beck and call….literally! They gave us a cell phone with their numbers programmed in and told us to call should we need anything. We did lose power a few times, which I only say so that you will not be surprised when it happens. The hotel seems to run off a generator and sometimes….it's not perfect. It really was not inconvenient as it was infrequent and short lived. It was all part of the experience of staying in such a unique and wonderful place and we would go back in an instant! Many, many thanks Emilio for sharing your lovely retreat with us! We hope to return!”

An Experience to Remember

Every now and then in life you do the extraordinary! My trip to Tulum and this 3RD HOME property was just that----Extraordianry! And I loved it! Think of Robinson Crusoe on the most gorgeous beach you have ever seen. That is this home in Tulum. The staff was there to assist with all of your needs. We had the owners chef do a meal for us, in one night, table side and open air. All rooms on this home have have incredible ocean views. The wind blowing off the ocean is constant and keeps the home very comfortable even though most of the rooms are Air Conditioned. The pool area is perfect in size and the bed down at the beach is a great idea. Would recommend this to our other members who like a little something different. ”
