September 2024Great beach home!
This was exactly what we expected for a beach house get-away. The house was as described, with a lot of additional touches that show the owners take a lot of pride and enjoyment in this house. I have rented many times in North Carolina at the beach, and to address issues raised in another review I will note that I have found it standard practice there to NOT include toilet paper, linens, etc. The welcome starter kit and inclusion of linens in my stay was a nice surprise. I hope to visit again someday and would definitely stay there again. ”

Although the location on the beach itself is nice and the owner seemed very pleasant, the home is quite dated. Many basics you would expect were not there such as no soap or toilet paper in any of the bathrooms, no shower amenities, no beach chairs, no beach towels, no salt and pepper or any basics with which to cook with and worn bed linens. The management company is not doing a service to the owners, as these basics have always been in any beach home we have stayed at. There was a small welcome kit with 2 rolls of toilet paper in the kitchen we discovered, but, we still had to go to the store for soap, beach chairs and beach towels upon arrival. I would expect more for a Third Home property. ”
