Description

De Brinkzate | 19th-century Retreat

De Brinkzate is a luxury 19th-century 4-bedroom townhome divided into two cosy apartments in the small village of Dwingeloo. A quaint village on the northern cusp of the Dwingelderveld National Park, Dwingeloo may be small but has a big personality in the summer.

This season, the lush village green becomes a stage for events like an international ceramic art fair on May 30. If your idea of perfect relaxation means blissful walks, bike rides and horseback treks in unspoiled nature, Dwingeloo may be up your street. The Dwingelderveld National Park has big skies, immense tracts of wet heathland and fens that glisten in the early evening.

Dwingeloo is known from the Astron Observatory. Established in 1956, this has brought much inspiration to the theme. For example, walking routes have been set out with names of planets, and a science hub has been realized on the green for visitors.

The townhouse was completely renovated in 2021. The renovation was set up with the ease and comfort of the present time but with respect for the monumental character. And that gives a unique mix with unique details and looking through to one of the most beautiful green areas in the Netherlands in the green village of Dwingeloo!

The first apartment has everything to complete your stay, ensuring a relaxed and relaxed holiday away from home. The apartment is fully equipped such as; free WIFI, ( private ) parking space behind the apartment, fully equipped kitchen with a combi oven/microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, induction plate and a Nespresso coffee machine.
You will stay next to the bakery and delicatessen shops. Let yourself be pampered with breakfast in bed, or come and enjoy a delicious croissant with a cup of coffee on the terrace.

In the second apartment, from the living room, you can enjoy the fun organized on and around the green. At the same time, you have a wonderful place to read a book in peace or to be cosy with family or friends. A relaxing terrace is directly in front of the apartment. With fresh bread from the bakery, it is up to you to eat a nice cup of coffee with a fresh croissant on the morning of dawn on the terrace.
In the afternoon, the same terrace is a cosy place for a view over the green with a good glass of wine and a Burgundian drinks board.
