July 2024Great location, amenities need significant improve
Great location. Spacious in a nice and safe building, Only a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Only things I was disappointed about was there was only one scratchy towel provided me during my stay. That, and there was no artwork on the walls nor any staples in the cupboard. It did have some olive oil but it was rancid. Other than that, I didn't spend much time in the apartment anyway. I probably walked 40,000 steps each day. Since I wanted to spend more time in Paris, I stayed at a $250 a night hotel called Hotel Jacques Lemay. It has a great history, and that the person it's named after was a night of Templar and the property was built sometime in the 15th century. Very cool! It was also in le Marais, A very cool place with lots of restaurants and gay clubs. When I miss my flight back to San Diego, I thought I would look for Alternative lodging, since I was going to spend very little time there to my surprise, there's an amazing hotel, hotel le Aquaduc. It was only $70 a night! It was comfy, cozy, had great pillows, bedsheets, mattress, and the bathroom was ample. The staff were amazing and the breakfast was second to none. The front desk staff were also very sweet, kind and accommodating. I've rented three more places for the summer, one in Oxford, England the second in Bologna Italy. The one in Bologna looks like it is a small villa. I also just rented a beachside home in Denmark. I had been to Copenhagen 43 years ago, so it's time to revisit it. Again, thanks for the opportunity to stay at this place. It's hard to believe it was worth over 2 1/2 million dollars, but it is located in a part of Paris. It's hard to believe it was worth over 2 1/2 million dollars, but it was very near the Eiffel Tower. As I mentioned, the staff are amazing and Marie in the main office was so patient and helpfu Helpful to me. She's the one that I suggested I check out hotel le aqueduc. Cioa & thanks Joey ”
