Happy to be back at the Spanish Steps Apartment!

As noted in our previous review last year, this Apartment is so fabulous when visiting Rome we just had to come back. Our Host David is so professional and his accommodations are first class. The location is perfect in a beautiful neighborhood with great restaurants, shops and sites all within walking distance. When we had to venture it was super easy to get a cab. We love Rome, and hope to be back many times in the future...and only hope we can stay here each time...highly recommend!”

Amazing Location and Spacious Apartment!

It has been at the top of our bucket list to visit the "Eternal City" of Rome. We could not have been more pleased from the moment we arrived to this fantastic building, where the representative for the Host, was waving "Buon Giorno" from one of the windows of this spacious two bedroom and bath apartment. Once inside, we found a terrific space- very neat and nicely decorated, with great amenities. Our Host David provided a Welcome document that was spectacular- like reading a travel and leisure magazine with all the "how to's" included. The best part was the location- literally sort walks to all the historic spots, great restaurants, shopping, etc. Highly recommend- and hope we can return! Grazie mille!”

You cannot beat the location, just a couple blocks from the Spanish Steps. Well appoited apartment with air conditioning. The second bedroom is really more suited for kids or teens. Great for a couple or a small family.”

Great location and beautiful apartment!

We stayed during the month of July 2021. From the time we reserved this beautiful apartment, the host was very helpful providing useful information, sharing the websites, and made sure that our stay would be comfortable. The manager was very helpful upon arrival and during the stay, made sure that all was in place to make sure we enjoyed the stay. We felt very well taken care of and made us feel very special. Location of the apartment was closed to every places where we wanted to visit. We usually stay at St. Regis for our short stay in Rome, but this apartment location made our stay in Rome for a week especially very enjoyable. Apartment was very specious, clean and comfortable with updated modern interior. Nothing like staying at the hotel. We would love to return to this property again. Amazing apartment in the heart of Rome❤️

What a wonderful home to spend a week in Rome! We were two parents traveling with our 26 years old daughter September 18-25, and this apartment was perfect for us. Superb location, close to many architectural and cultural sites, fantastic shopping and restaurants, all within walking distance. The apartment is beautiful, big, quiet for restful nights, and outfitted with anything you might need in a home away from home. David, we appreciated the wine, bread, butter, jams, prosciutto, cheese, yoghurt, milk, coffee, and other amenities that left for us at the apartment, so we didn’t need to go shopping right away. We loved having so many books around us, especially travel and art books! Rosie, the housekeeper, was easy to communicate and very responsive. Communication with the owner was flawless, David responded quickly to all my questions, gave us lots of advise and recommendations. We felt that we gained a friend, even though we didn’t meet in person yet. We highly recommend David’s Spanish Steps apartment wholeheartedly! Thank you!”

Amazing location!

My husband, our two teenage daughters and I had a fantastic time at this 2 bed 2 bath apartment in the center of Rome. We were very comfortable. Even thought it was quite hot outside, the AC worked perfectly and the bedrooms were nice and cool all the time. There is a great local coffee shop next door to the building. There is also a pizzeria next door. The food was delicious and inexpensive. We also dined at a Michelin star restaurant located a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The best part of our stay was that we were able to walk after dinner to the pantheon and other gorgeous monuments all around the apartment. I walked to the hair salon, grocery store, and fashion stores. Truly the best location you can imagine in Rome. The communication with the owner and the local property manager was excellent. I highly recommend this comfortable and clean apartment in the center of Rome.”

The Most Convenient Apartment in Rome Ever!

This apartment is a short distance to 3 of the top sites in Rome: The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain & The Pantheon. On top of that, restaurants all around you. The owners and manager were so hospitable. Lots of info ahead of time, arranged a driver for us from airport, stocked essential items for kitchen & checked us in. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you to The Colins!”

Deja Blue to Rome!

The apartment communication info. from David was outstanding to start the process. He has done extensive homework and preparation for your trip and it is readily available for his guests. Be sure to get them to assist you with dinner reservations at a few local places he suggests. LOCATION and apartment are perfect as you can walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon etc. within a few minutes. There is a cab stand a block away if you don't want to walk. We much preferred to stay in this wonderful apartment vs. cramped hotel room. Exceeded our expectations!!”

Fantastically located apartment, immaculately clean, superbly appointed. The very helpful owner has thought of everything you could wish for during your stay:stocked fridge and larder; personal amenities; guides; books; maps; brollies,; bags; Rome themed-dvds, as well as helpful tech items - and this means you feel instantly like you are getting an "insider experience", as well as making your stay more relaxing and comfortable. Despite it's central location the apartment is quiet and we slept very well. We keep coming back to this apartment as it is so good, we can't recommend it highly enough. It's better than a 5 star hotel experience!.. Just wish it was our Third Home!”

Absolute Perfection

This is by far the best property we have had the pleasure of booking. Everything about this apartment is perfect - the location, the spaciousness, the amenities, the thoughtfulness of the owners - welcome wine, charcuterie, breads, waters. We have been to Rome many times but this was one of the best visits we’ve ever made to the Eternal City. We ate at many of our favorites and David’s suggestions are spot on - Armando’s, Nino, Emma, Ditrirambo, La Pergola, Taverna Angelica, and Life. We took the Scavi tour, visited many of the smaller churches we hadn’t had an opportunity to see, walked this beautiful city, and attended the Opera, We even experienced a Roman snowfall which is a true rarity. We look forward to returning to this beautiful apartment in the not too distant future.”

An ideal location to enjoy central Rome

This first floor apartment provides all the amenities of guality apartment living in Rome. The living room overlooks a side street bourgeoning with many service providers (shops, restaurants, etc) so the living style is easy with many amenities very close by. (Just walk outside and next door is a marvelous cafe for all your breakfast wishes!) The apartment is well maintained and meticulous. The owner has a local service that is available 24/7 in the event there are matters that need attending. There are two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large living room, a dining room and an efficient kitchen. The owner makes available a great deal of information and suggestions for sightseeing that helps make the visit to central Rome much more user friendly.”

The apartment has really the best possible setting in a nice building in Rome. Spanish Steps, Fountain Trevi, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, Pantheon (amongst other attractions) are steps away from this home. Nicely furnished, well equipped, the apartment has lived up all our expectations. And Rome... amazing place to see, eat, relax, also for beach experience (Lido di Ostia is 40 minutes away by car with great beaches, including VLounge, which is probably the nicest one) I strongly recommend this property to everyone.”

Spanish Steps is located in the perfect position to explore the wonders of Rome with almost every key attraction being within walking distance. We couldn't believe how easy it is to get around. The apartment is clean, nicely furnished with very comfortable beds and is well-equipped. The kitchen is small but adequate and with so many amazing restaurants just a few steps away I can't imagine why anyone would want to dine at home! David has gone to enormous lengths to ensure his guests make the most of their stay. The Information Pack provided gives details on everything you could want from places to visit to recommended restaurants and there is even an iPad mini with Rome-related apps as well as numerous maps and guide books on Rome. If you want to explore this wonderful city you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place to do it from!”
