August 2025Authentic Roman Stay in a quiet neighborhood filled with locals not tourists
The apartment was very sunny and airy with high ceilings and giant windows with classic Italian shutters. The finish out was very modern, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the close proximity to the subway, the Vatican and usually we just walked everywhere the streets were so beautiful with the giant Sycamore trees lining the streets. There is a neighborhood cafe bar located just across the street that's open very early in the morning that we frequented to get our authentic Italian breakfast. We also loved going to the supermarket to pick up Italian delicacies to have at home. The hostess, Flavia, was an exceptional hostess offering great communication and also offered a helpful binder with restaurant, bar, local attraction suggestions. We had a lovely time staying there, it felt like home. Other notes: The AC worked great. The building was quiet. There was a washer/dryer and drying rack. The kitchen was equipped with a dishwasher, fridge and stove top. There was coffee and a moka machine for making coffee. Everything we needed was provided for. Highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Rome! Also- If you have any gluten, dairy allergies check out Mama Eat Roma, it's my new favorite restaurant (Originally a Naples restaurant- need we say more)! Hope this helps!”
