September 2025Smokey Mountain Escape
Four of us stayed at the Smoky Mountain Escape during a week in September. First of all , the property is in pristine condition and located in the mountains very close to the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Suzi was easily accessible with any question we had and very accommodating. Every day we created a day trip to explore the area. This time of year was perfect for visiting as the crowds were minimal, the weather was perfect and everything was easy to access. We went to the Smoky Mountains probably 3 to 4 times during our stay, ( try to go to Greenbriar School on a Tuesday for the docent’s talk about the school) ,we visited Dollywood one day, we did the Foothills Parkway Drive, Skyway Park, Gatlinburg… but did not make it to Anakeesta. On our very last day we realized there was a chairlift on the other side of the nearby main road. The lift was just to the top of the mountain with views of the surrounding area. We wished we had known before, as we would’ve grabbed a bottle of wine and a picnic and gone up for an enjoyable lunch. The staff were very friendly there. The Mountain Store across the road from the cabin’s location was also super cool. And eating at Elvira’s was very good. Nearby Townsend had a grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants and everything we needed as well. After our day adventure, we would usually eat dinner closer to the cabin. All in all, we have delightful memories of this trip and this beautiful cabin. PS:We enjoyed the hot tub in the morning and at night. And forgot to mention, getting to see bear from the balcony in the back woods. 😀”

June 2025Wonderful Family Friendly Home in the Smokeys
We had 8 of us in this super well equipped home in a central location to the Smokey Mountains. The family spread out between the upper loft, the main level and the kids zone in the lower level. Movie Room, Bunk Beds, Master Bedroom and the upper loft really fit our multi-generational family like a glove! We had amazing views and enjoyed quick access to the local area. Hot Tub was a bonus! I highly recommend this great home!! 5 stars!”
