Perfect location with Cali vibes

Loved our stay at The Pool House. It is the perfect location and the accomodation is great space. Perfectly located to watch the beautiful ocean and the sunset right outside. Restaturants and bars are literally on the doorstep. Loved sitting at the window people watching with a cocktail. Stephanie was very helpful and commmunication with her was instant when we had any questions. ”

House was super convenient and close to many great restaurants and activities. The property was fully equipped with bikes and beach accessories. Stephanie the owner was so very helpful with entertainment suggestions, cooperation on dates and great communication. Real asset to Third Home!”

Lovely views but very old towels/linens and master bed terrible

This house is on the strand which is great for walking or biking, but if you sit outside you are with hundreds of folks walking/riding by. The guest rooms seemed updated. However, the master is a very old bed with terrible linens that seem decades old and don't fit. The towels were very very used. The furniture in the family room seats three adults. Overall I would not stay there again unless they put a new bed in the master and invested in proper linens and towels and got better seating in the family room. However, the beach is great and if you want to just suntan and don't care about the inside the location is superb. ”

We loved staying at The Pool House on the Strand! The home is lovely and well equipped, we even cooked a full Thanksgiving feast in their lovely kitchen. Perfection!

The location, amenities, and host of the Pool House on the Strand are simply wonderful! My trip highlights included having the ability to walk anywhere (restaurants, live entertainment, etc.), step out the front door and immediately onto the sand, or lounge indoors and watch the dolphins swim the coast while working! I can't wait to return with my children and relive the experience in a different (but fun) way!”

Pool House on the Strand

We loved the pool house at Hermosa Beach! Its very comfortable. Having the ability to park and ride bikes everywhere was such a big part of the experience and there are many toys etc available to use. We loved long rides along the strand. On days the sun didn't come out, we loved the pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast place next door is just amazing as well. We went everyday. Stephanie was so helpfull. My son lost his iPod and she called a few weeks later asking if one the cleaning crew found was ours and she would mail it to us! We hope to come back:)”

Pool House on the Strand

Very well situated on The Strand and within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, bars, etc... The upstairs Master Suite and great room, kitchen and dining area were spacious and able to accommodate 10-12 people. The three bedrooms downstairs were small but workable and share a very small bathroom. The garage is full of bikes and beach toys. Overall an excellent home that we plan on using again.”

Magical - and easy access to everything

if you have two teenagers as I did with me, and want a place where they can play pool in the living room, or swim in the indoor pool downstairs - or walk along the strand - this house is for you! I loved it. My husband and I took morning and evening walks along the ocean and sat on the deck overlooking the beach and watched people and my husband and daughters loved the hot tub on the roof! This house was perfect for us! It will be perfect for you as well!”
